Kyle and Lynch will be fired if the team isn't a playoff team by 2021. They have had a ton of time, early picks and cap room.

If this team is not in the SB window, Shanalynch are to blame.

Lance will be expected to win.

You have no idea when they will be fired...stop assuming.

Yeah they drafted the youngest QB in SF history who hasn't played since 2019, sat in 2020, and you want to sit him another yr THEN will expect him to win right off the bat or else

If they think Jimmy is the guy that gives them the best chance to win, then I'm hoping Kyle appeases them and gives Jimmy another shot at running the offense once he's healthy. If he gets it back on track, great. If Jimmy falters, then that's all the justification needed to move on from Jimmy and dedicating the rest of the season to Lance. "See, I gave Jimmy a chance and nothing has changed."
I get that they are pros and will fight for whoever is under center, but there were playoff expectations coming into 2021, let the #1 QB (Jimmy) see it through and leave no doubt in the players' minds that Jimmy is not the guy for the job before switching over to Lance full time. That's the approach I hope Kyle takes.

He gave Jimmy all of camp, 4 weeks and then he did whatever to his calf...how many more times do you give Jimmy a chance? We're in year 4 and his missed almost half his games. You got plenty of vets on this team that have seen this play out over and over. They all saw SF draft Lance and do everything in their power to move off Jimmy this off season. I would hope they'd realize this was a real possibly this yr unless everything was going perfectly...which it most certainly hasn't

I mean how many more games do you have to lose before you hand it off to the rookie? Are those vets gonna play just as hard after losing a bunch more games and for Lance? We will see, I'm assuming based off Kyle's comments he will go with Jimmy and I think for the most part it's a mistake.

I guess you can hear what you want to hear but I have gave Jimmy his credit when it's due.

I said Jimmy played well in Detroit and in the second half of the Eagles game. I also never said that the TD throw to Deebo in Detroit or the TD throw to Dwelley vs Seattle were bad passes like some have argued. That's exactly what I want to see from Jimmy. Take more chances. I'd rather see a deep 50-50 ball then a check down and punt.

But if you listen to any other poster you'd believe I said Jimmy is garbage. He's not garbage. I've never said he's garbage. But he's not going to elevate this team like I believe Lance will eventually… if not this year then hopefully next season. And I could be wrong about that.

All I rejected from your previous posts is three things.

1. Jimmy played well enough to win in a loss against Green Bay. Because on the flip side, I never said Lance played well enough to win this game against Arizona. I thought Jimmy's consistent 3 and outs vs GB and Lance's inability to convert 4th downs both we're losing football.

2. We know that starting Lance in 2021 would result in a wasted season. The counter argument would be that we wasted the season having a 26 million QB who gets hurt frequently when that money could have been used to fix other positions or if we knew Jimmy was the guy and wouldn't get hurt we should have used that draft capital to fix other positions. Obviously Kyle had seen enough of Jimmy's injury history and doesn't trust him to stay healthy at the very least. But to claim WE know we're wasting the season starting Lance but now you're saying we don't know if very confusing to me.

3. You can accurately represent a QBs individual play by the teams scoring total. I just don't understand why you would make this argument.

Bingo.
I wonder if there is any trade market for this guy? The bye would be the time to do it.

They will be fired after a fifth losing seasons. Why wouldn't they be fired?

I think they have built a string team and should be expected to win this year if Jimmy starts and next year if Trey starts.

I didn't say anything about sitting anyone.

This is why Kyle lives inside the 10 85% of the time. Less risky. Looks like it's time to do some roll outs to the right.

I think we left that dock a long time ago.
Talk to kyle and lynch about that. they are the ones soley responsible for the poor season so far.. and yes 2 3 and the way we have not been prepared is a poor season. and the coaching was horrid yesterday. sounds like kyle is fine with going back to 1996 and having our quarterback being our best running back. they got an extra week to figure out their s**t. aside from deebo. anyones job on the wide out thing is on the line with all of the drops we had sunday.. trey will be fine i think... but then i also have zero confidence in kyles ability to mold and help a qb improve and grow and get better. no matter his name or how much experience he has or does not have, oh but i forgot.. if you listen to kyles bath water drinkers.. well thats not on kyle.. that is on the qb in off season. b******t

Wow you're real "faithful" lol, gave him one whole game. Patience doesn't exist for a lot of you in here I see...you must be a blast waiting in line to get a beer at games

we were told it was a super bowl winning team before the year began.. of course. people who said that are denying it was ever a talking point in the first place.. to me. this goes beyond the record.... our team is poorly coached in all three phases and seem not ready to play games. and the coaches are either unable or unwilling to adjust as the game goes. then when it came to drafting this year. well thats a whole other mess

Yup. Eric Davis said the exact same thing about how a veteran would view the permanent move to Trey this early and NY85 called his take stupid. LOL

staley and spikes said they would go with trey. Even ex 49ers are split.

Fair!
