Deebo is a different breed when it comes to WR, but how do you quantify it going forward based on other elite WR pay? When a large part of what we like is his RB style of play.

Dont get me wrong, Deebo is worthy of a fat contract, but below those mentioned above.

And NO Deebo is not a b***h for this. Stupid to be saying s**t like that about one of the toughest players in he league.

he single handed won the packers game. well no offense to willis robbie and huff!

This sounds terrible lol but it's based on the draft chart calculator. Looking at the Hill trade the Dolphins sent a package equal to around 1126 draft chart points. Pick 10 is worth 1300 points meaning we would have to kick about 200 back to NYJ to replicate the trade value of the Hill deal. I guess we could go this route:

Jets get Deebo

49ers get #35
49ers get #38
49ers get a 5th

49ers draft the next Kinlaw, Sermon and Banks with the picks, struggle to break .500 next the few years until Shanahan is fired, and I LMAO as fans squirm and cry as they get what they fished for.

This fanbase deserves a perennial loser in perpetuity. Fortunately, I think the 49ers learned from their mistakes with Defo. Deebo is just trying to secure the bag. I don't take it personally.

Yeah just to clarify I'm not advocating for this just looked at the Hill deal and added up the value with the trade chart. Figure our trade package would be at similar to Hill trade package. With that assumption the above is what it would look like. Looks kinda like DeFo all over again. With pick 10 its 50/50 that player will amount to anything. Two early 2nds would be maybe 1 player who is solid. Trading would not be ideal.
It all comes down to reasonableness. If we offer 20-23 per year that's reasonable. If he's thinking 23-25 probably get a deal done. If we are thinking under 20 and he's at 30, then if we can get a top 10 pick and a 2nd rounder, it is tough not to take it.

I don't see us getting a top 10 and a second that would put us way beyond the trade value of the Hill deal

Yes, he had a mojor part in that win. But, let's not forget the defense did a damn good job stopping a HOF QB.

Mostert single handily beat the Packers and posters (most likely included you) were crying about giving him an extra couple mil lol
Deebo is striking while the iron is hot after an All-Pro year.

Don't blame him.

Agreed. Without the defense, that game would have been over by halftime.

If niners got pick 4 instead of 10 I'd seriously consider it, then draft Ohio St Wilson or Alabama Williams as a replacement

He'll get paid. I'm confident that Kyle and John know how valuable he is to the team.

Meh. Not sure about that. 9ers tend to offer big contracts to the ones they are crazy about. They recently offered big money contact to a mid-tier CB. Deebo will get his money too, eventually. I'm sure the 9ers aren't dumb enough to let It get out of hand.

I wouldn't call what they gave Ward big money - they can him after one year with a $5 million hit.

My point is that the 49ers are known for doing team friendly deals so it's not surprising that with a WR who wants his money that there is going to be some back and forth during negotiations.

The high and mighty draft pick value chart says pick 4 is significantly more valuable than pick 10. I don't think we could get pick 4. And if we drafting wideout to replace Deebo that just reeks of Buckner / Kinlaw

Kinlaw finally got his knees right, I think he'll be a bright spot on defense. If not drafting a Deebo replacement then you get a top tier Edge rusher to pair up with Bosa

Yeah he isn't going no where. Pay the man,
He loves the team and the team and front office loves him. He will get paid but it's going to be after Jimmy G is healthy and we trade or release him. JIMMY G really screwed us with his surgery. 100% he would be on a new team if not for the surgery.

Dude knows he's getting paid, and hopefully he's wise enough to understand that a big part of his success was the YAC that's created through Shanny's offense and that is his best opportunity for long term success with the niners
