It is though. You have to accept reality.

Which part?
Hypothetical trade scenario:

Jets get Deebo Samuel
Jets get pick #93

49ers get pick #10

This sounds terrible lol but it's based on the draft chart calculator. Looking at the Hill trade the Dolphins sent a package equal to around 1126 draft chart points. Pick 10 is worth 1300 points meaning we would have to kick about 200 back to NYJ to replicate the trade value of the Hill deal. I guess we could go this route:

Jets get Deebo

49ers get #35
49ers get #38
49ers get a 5th

then the jets trade him to the rams or seattle or the cardinals for a one and a two and a 3! who do you replace deebo with? please do not tell me. kyle and his brilliance can go get a bum off the street and make him deebo 2.

49ers draft the next Kinlaw, Sermon and Banks with the picks, struggle to break .500 next the few years until Shanahan is fired, and I LMAO as fans squirm and cry as they get what they fished for.

This fanbase deserves a perennial loser in perpetuity. Fortunately, I think the 49ers learned from their mistakes with Defo. Deebo is just trying to secure the bag. I don't take it personally.

Deleting everything " Niner " related from social media just because he's yet to have signed a new contract Isn't a good look for him. He should handle It like a professional and let this play out. We all know he'll get what he deserves eventually, no need to act like This.

have they really.. i think lynch is a guy who is more worried about his ego than whats best for the team. what gets me are fans starting to try to make the case for why we should get rid of deebo and how people like him are a dime a dozen. lynch puts a tag on deebo. he is as good as julian peterson gone.. the longer he holds onto his boy jimmy. the more uncertain the future of deebo and bosa are. of course people who feel this way are trolls... people who blindly support lynch and the front office and poo poo the loss of deebo could be called homer trolls. when you got something good. that only means someone else wants it.. jimmy and deebo are at opposite ends of that spectrum

He's a WR. Murray is a QB. Big difference.

It's a negotiating tactic. I don't blame the guy for wanting his money given how short NFL careers are and how much punishment his body takes.

The 49ers aren't exactly known for splashing out cash - they are extremely prudent.

Obviously everyone Cares, that's why it's being discussed. With that being Said, I expect him to sign a big contract soon. Still think he's childish for doing that though.

They have splashed out plenty of cash.
I have no problem breaking the bank on positions like QB, ER, LT.

i would make an exception for WR only if they are Elite type players like Adams, Hill, Diggs. I would add Chase and Jefferson, but still young

Deebo is a different breed when it comes to WR, but how do you quantify it going forward based on other elite WR pay? When a large part of what we like is his RB style of play.

Dont get me wrong, Deebo is worthy of a fat contract, but below those mentioned above.

And NO Deebo is not a b***h for this. Stupid to be saying s**t like that about one of the toughest players in he league.

Meh. Not sure about that. 9ers tend to offer big contracts to the ones they are crazy about. They recently offered big money contact to a mid-tier CB. Deebo will get his money too, eventually. I'm sure the 9ers aren't dumb enough to let It get out of hand.
