Obviously everyone Cares, that's why it's being discussed. With that being Said, I expect him to sign a big contract soon. Still think he's childish for doing that though.

I think it's kinda childish that we actually care about a grow ass man and what he posts/deletes on his SM…but yeah we both agree something will get done, not sure if it's soon though.

Besides, the CBA rules for rookies is still a good deal for those middle peak year vets. Deebo is gonna get paid one way or another, whether with SF or elsewhere, because he balled out. The vets wanted first year contract guys to prove they should earn those top contracts instead of just getting it based on being a high 1st round pick. Contracts continue to increase up and up with no stop in site. The path they were on before they changed it would mean it would have been Trevor Lawrence being the highest QB in the league last year before playing a single NFL game. Sure, it creates a bit of limbo posturing for some guys in Year 4, but overall it's a far more equitable system.

This is Buckner all over again. Why are we so dumb. Sign heeeeem 4 years 90 mil 75 guaranteed. By 2025 it will look incredibly cheap. Other teams do this. We can too.

They earn their money. Deebo has the right to put pressure on an organization that rakes in billions to make his money. He puts his body and future on the line every single time he steps on that field. He might be in pain for the rest of his life from one hit. He might lose his sanity, rationality, memory, brain function in general. He might die before he should because of this game we enjoy. He should stand his ground and get paid what he thinks he's worth. I pray to the football gods that our organization understands what he's worth and they pay every penny.

I think there is a danger to over pay him. He can get hurt too. With his style of play. We would be left holding that big contract.

Niners were probably relying on off loading Jimmy's contract before signing Deebo but the plan backfired and now they're stuck. Sounds pretty messy if you ask me.

if lynch really cared about the future of this team. and i mean bosa and deebo. he would cut jimmy.. but he is not. that is why i really question if he is looking out for the team or his own ego
