This. It's a negotiating ploy.

Lol I didn't know Deebo was a teenager. Scrubbing his social media. What a clown

....but it heavily got your attention.

I have to say, if I were Deebo's agent, I would have told him to remove the team from social media because of the mass overreaction it would cause. Great negotiation tactic to put pressure on a team because of the erratic and irrational perception created by the media and mob mentality.

Why do drama queens not understand this?

Have to see a restructure of a contract or 2... Or Jimmy cut before this can get done.

By acting like kids? Doesn't seem like a mature way to negotiate a new contract. He needs to be patient and trust the process.

It depends on what they have offered him. If its like $18-20 Million. Yeah that's insulting.

That's far from insulting.
I think 18 mil is a little low, but I think 20 mil is the floor of a deal. I see it being 8n the range of 20 to 25 per, if he's asking for more than that the team should absolutely hold its ground.

Where is he acting like a kid?

There are no established rules or even etiquette as far as social media of an individual player goes. I mean sure they shouldn't write dumb stuff, but who they follow and not follow is really not a big deal. It enables players to say stuff without saying it explicitly, but really it's just whatever.

You're not obligated to follow your workplace on social media.

I don't see anything even remotely wrong in what Deebo has done. It's benign.

I agree with. Except, the only reason he deleted/removed anything from his social media that Is Niner related Is because of his contact situation. It's basically what athletes do these days. Anything for attention.
Bosa > Deebo

I get that, but I honestly don't think it has much of an impact one way or another in regards to negotiating. All it really accomplishes in my opinion is upsetting the fan base. I mean did Kyler get a new deal after his little hissy fit. At the very least I think it's way too early for this move. If we were approaching training camp I would at least understand it a little more. I really admire the way George and Fred approached their negotiations without resorting to this, and guess what? They still got paid. I'm not going to freak out until training camp approaches assuming were in the same spot at that point.

Seriously it comes down to the guaranteed money and not per year or incentives. Can't guarantee him; just look at Christian McCaffrey.

This makes no sense. 🤣 it's not a matter of either or. Plus Bosa has a 5th year option that will pay him handsomely next season.

You'd be a little surprised at how much things sway and change based on public opinion. Keep in mind that signings and draft picks are still all work in progress.
So immediately after Diggs gets paid Deebo talks to his agent, agent suggests using the media to get attention, so Deebo scrubs his insta of but leaves his profile pic. After the media picks up on the profile pic he gets rid of that too just to give away that someone (probably his agent) is watching the reactions.

That about cover it?
