The height probably plays a factor here....lets be honest.

adding another 6'1'' guy when we got Pettis already. Think the fanbase would be overall meh or down on this move. Especially if its a 3rd round pick.

So we won't want DeAndre Hopkins? He's the same size as cooper.

Cooper has top end talent, for whatever reason he hasn't been able to be consistent. I'd be all for it if he checks out health wise (took a nasty hit today).

Amari Cooper is 225 lbs. He's 40 lbs heavier than Pettis.

Lynch will be aggressively prudent.

What should he be willing to give up?

Great question....Cooper got rocked today and was out with a concussion. He's also got a $13 million hit next yr on the option.

I'm all for it BUT Gruden has to be willing to keep him in his backyard and that might not be an option...people need to except that we might not be an option.

Agreed, nobody knows if they would deal with us. But Lynch gets s**t on if we don't get a deal done.

I'd like cooper to get down to 215ish if by some luck he ended up here.

I'd throw a 3rd for him, but it might not even be realistic for us...but yeah lynch and Co. will get s**t regardless.
Just read an article on bleacher report of best fits and cost and the least they had a team giving up was two 3rd rd picks and a player while the most was a 1st, while I like Cooper a lot I'm not sure the niners come close to the asking price..

I haven't been very impressed w/him this or last year.

Thoughts??
theres a thread in free agency already, but I wouldn't give up anything more than a 5th. Just offer McKenzie the same s**tty package that you tried to offer the Browns for Gordon. See if they bite.
I think he's in a bad spot with Oakland . Not sure about Carr too. Cooper has flashed serious stud potential. His first two years was nice. Losing Carr hurt. This current O is idk not that good to be honest. Everyone seems off.

He's a 24 year old WR with 2 1,000 yard seasons to his name. He also has size. Start with a 3rd but don't let him slip away. None of our WR's can get open right now.

I'm all for it. Just stating they might not even be an option as a viable trade partner based on sharing the same market.

they still took our call for Mack. I don't think the market thing or the former rivalry is that big of a deal.
