I hear a lot of chatter on here about how Donte Moncrief would be a good affordable pick up. He's 6'2" 212lbs and hasn't lived up to his potential from college at Ole Miss. Feel free to share thoughts and any news concerning this player!

I'm cool avoiding WR in FA and going the draft route. My boys Kendrick Bourne and Trent Taylor are ready to have breakout years

Major takeaway:

Marquise Goodwin's extension, IMO, is a perfect illustration of what Kyle Shanahan looks for in a WR.

He's looking for elite traits. Doesn't have to be polished. He believes enough in himself (and his coaching staff) to develop potential into production.

Kyle harped on the importance of elite traits in his WRs at the combine, even if their all-around game is underdeveloped.

Donte Moncrief: 40" vert, 11' broad. Those are elite explosiveness numbers.

Didn't realize he is 6'-2" and with a 40" vert he has the potential to dominate, 24 years old

I wanted him in the draft but we all know how balke worked that. I would like to see him in the gold he would fit nicely. Cut Robinson draft a later round guy and bring in some udfs to compete for possible practice squad guys. Garcon,Moncrieff,Goodwin,Taylor,Bourne let the youngsters battle it out for the last spot and practice squad. Done
