Landry overrated?? He already has two back to back 1100 yard seasons and is on pace for a third this year. Watkins has been solid all year with good size and speed, only 24 and could end up close to 1,000 yards himself this year.

Like I said he plays the slot and he basically getting handoffs. 8.7 YPA and avg 58 yards per game isn't good at all. 370 catches in 4 yrs with only 19 TDs...he's a good slot WR but I think we have one already.

Watkins has 528 yards in 12 games (44 yards per game), gonna need 120 yards a game to make that happen. Don't see it.

Better options then those guys imo.

Can't really understand this tbh with you. Sammy was one of the better WR's I've watched come out of the draft and outside of injuries, which are a major issue to be fair, he's done nothing to not show that he is a #1 in my opinion.

And Jarvis is a stud and one of the best slot wideouts in the league. Unless your scheme or other skill talent requires a faster slot receiver, you can't really do better.

He's the guy I really want and i think him, Garcon, Goodwin, Kittle and Hyde can do damage together.

Slot guys are usually great value in FA too. And i don't think Sammy is hitting FA after they traded so much for him.

I hear you, man.

Haha I hear you too but come on guys, we were in the NFC Championship 4 years ago and started out 7-3 the next season. It definitely feels like a lifetime ago though!

So he's off a little on the years - I get the gist of it.

Face it folks - we got a franchise Qb for a mere 2nd round pick. The football gods are shining down on us.

If this is the case, it's about f**king time !!! Lol

Finally, bud - the gods have finally shined down on us. Go, Niners, go!

Haha if he ends up being the guy - forget the football gods, this was all Kyle Shanahan.

Watching him talk about Jimmy is great.. he can't control his excitement 🙃

Yeah, you can see that Kyle is loving Jimmy. We really lucked out on getting him. Things are looking up.

There goes our draft position, oh well. At least jimmy gets more reps in shannys offense in reg season games.

Torn between tanking and keeping our draft position and continuing to see Jimmy progress.

For me it's more important now to establish a winning culture with Jimmy G, it'll make us much more attractive in FA if guys see Jimmy balling out and if we've got the 3rd or lower pick then we're not going to get a ransom anyway. I'm not sure this draft is strong enough to warrant on passing up Barkley to trade down.
Where's the link where shanahan is gushing about him?

Good stuff. He needs to reps for next year. I just wish he could throw to Garcon.

Garoppolo playing these games is way more important to this teams future than a few draft spots in next years draft, I mean our pick is gonna be in the top 10 no matter what more likely in the top 5 so its not gonna make that big of a difference if Jimmy G leads us to a couple extra wins .

I keep hearing that the 2nd year is when players really get the hang of Shanahans offense, 5 games this year and a whole offseason should allow Jimmy G to hit the ground running in week 1 next year.

I think getting Jimmy game reps is far more important than the draft. Getting Jimmy was our draft pick; we picked up the most groomed QB out there. Now we still have a second 1st rd pick.
