But the rest is ancient history and irrelevant unless you are hoping ShanaLynch bring them all back now. LOL

I was comparing coaches. He brought up Chip and 3 and outs.

Poor guy...why would anyone want to bring up the past unless it was the 1980's or 90's. LOL

Was there a tweet from Schefter saying KC may trade Alex in the offseason? They just said that on KNBR. Lets bring Alex back next year!!!
At halftime...in most of our games, with bad personnell on offense..we were competitive...still in it, when offenses put up points.

Vs Buffalo 13-17

Vs Tampa. 14-17

Vs Saints. 20-31

Vs Cards. 10-20

Vs Pats. 10-13

Vs Fins. 7-14

Vs. Bears. 6-7

Vs Jets. 17-3

Falcons. 13-28

Rams. 7-14

Seahawks. 14-19

The D is starting to come together and by next season I think they will be solid under Saleh. I can see Alex running Shanny's offense...except the deep ball part of it.

All that being said about Chip Kelly. It seems like this offense goes 3 and out at the same rate of time, if not worse. Defense is still getting gassed.

At least with Kaepernick, Chip's offense put up points in the first half of games...we were competing, from the offensive side of the ball.

Chip's issue was adjustments in the second half....and yes 3 and outs + a tired defense....lead by Jim O'Neal.

Right now from an offensive perspective, we are not even competing in the first half...at least from the QB position.

Chip Kelly's offense was also much more simplistic and easy to learn as opposed to Shanahan's. The offense will get better as the weeks progress and all the players begin to grasp it a little better. We also won't be playing perennial top five defense's every week either.

Chip Kelly's offense was more about shock than anything. Its similar to college when you only get a week to prepare for a triple option offense. When you only get a short period of time to get accustomed to the speed and style of Kelly's offense, it can stymie you at first. Once NFL teams started to settle in the shock factor started to wear off.

Chip Kelly's offense continued to get worse the longer it stayed in the NFL. Kyle's offense has already proven to be self sustaining and a championship caliber offense. There is no question here in the long term which scheme between the two creates a more winnable platform or gives the whole team better stability.

Yeah, even though there's a new regime now, I don't think he has the stomach to come back.

People seem to forget with norv turner alex the the deep ball plenty. Bryant had a pretty good year connecting with that deep ball. Alex should have never have left the 9ners. But he deserved better. I dont care what you think, he was put through the ringer, before he got hurt he was 2-1, with a loss to the steelers. the steelers were the best d back then. Then with harbaugh he played well, and yes would have led us to the super bowl. I wish he never left. He had what 1 time with a second year in a system?

Oh yeah, playing hurt?!?! no one cared lol, just continued to bash. I remember him blocking for runners to... not many qbs do that.

I know he could run this offense, and he would be a great person to learn under for our fqb

you act like he's not in the league anymore. He's had plenty of chances afterwards and still has a chance.

Probably right. He would probably wanna stay clear from ownership anyway. Although Lynch has all say.
