He's gonna chill for a at least a yr and pickup that extension money the Rams owe him.

well, let the harbaugh rumors intensify i suppose

Rams will have to hire a lame duck for a couple years. Harbaugh's run in MI is only at 2 years. Not enough time to wear out his welcome.

This. Harbaugh isn't going anywhere. He is King of Ann Arbor for the next couple of years
With the quick success including a QB injury away from making the 4 team championship play-off this year I believe he thinks he can win a national championship soon and won't leave until he does.
He was made a HC in 94 i believe... who knows what kind of DC he is... does he have a personality? Although usually have to win at least 1 Superbowl before getting a commentator job
My son and I were watching when Goff got tattooed while scoring the Rams' 2nd TD toward the end of the game. We both said "what's Fisher trying to do, get his rookie QB killed". Not sure why it wasn't announced 'til now, but Fisher signed a 2-yr extension just before the season started. As far as Harbaugh leaving Michigan, I'd think he'd want to beat Ohio St and Alabama before coming back to the NFL. But, who knows. Many times, money talks.
Bad news for us long term that's a talented team. Good news short term. Our upcoming game with LA was shaping up to be a sure win as long as fisher was there.

Chip Kelly has been showing management and the few competent fans out there that he can easily score points with zero talent in the first quarter all season long, and gameplan the team to a loss in the 2nd half to secure a top draft pick. Jeff fisher is one of the few people on the planet that would have still found a way to be a loser. #1 pick still in play.

I think so.

I'd assume he would take a break from football.

Me too, but I think he'd make a good D coordinator.
Didn't they just gave him an extension two weeks ago? What a waste of money....

The extension occurred before the season began. It just wasn't leaked until last week.

I doubt he leave Michigan but he can use the Rams as leverage to get a raise. Not sure why someone would turn down Oakland and then 2 short years later take a job in LA. Although he may really hate Jed and just want to whoop on him for the next decade.

Sure there was some non-guaranteed dollars in that Extension.

My bet is they put a caretaker in till the new LA stadium is ready, then they reboot the greatest show on turf uniforms and spend on a big name like Harbaugh. It'll coincide pretty nicely with his contract being up in Michigan too.

I thought that's what he has been doing for the last 5 years? Rams fans must feel like Christmas came early this year.
Long overdue for them.

"We're not gonna go 8-8!"

No. No you're not.
I wonder if he asked them too. He's now tied for the most losses as a HC ever. Maybe he didn't want more? Lol.
