Didn't see a thread for this guy yet. He looks super talented and athletic. I know we've invested a lot of picks in our defensive backs, but having a safety that can actually cover would help a ton. Some say he reminds them of Polamalu or Charles Woodson. What do you guys think of this guy?

Not what everyone was thinking but it is still freakin fast. And his game is more about his explosion. He has incredible burst.

Earl ran a 4.43 so he'd be a bit slower than him. Troy ran a 4.33. I think today confirmed he's s strong safety prospect and really shouldn't be drafted until the 2nd or 3rd. It's not out of the question that he can't improve his instincts. A Wilson only had 3 college picks but with a high pick I don't think you want to make that bet.

I definitely think it's clear that he's a SS, but I'd be curious about a potential transition to FS.

Well, we could end the Reid and Bethea experiment, take Hooker at 2 and trade up into the 20s and take Peppers. We'd have our secondary (with Ward remaining at CB to play with Robinson and the best of the rest and Tartt playing a "small" SAM)

I was impressed by his overall performance today, & look forward to seeing him in the DB drills tomorrow.

However, I don't get why he put on extra weight if he wanted to run a sub 4.45 40?

Knowing his ideal weight and speed is more important right now.

Round 1 is high for me and some teams are asking him about playing Rb and slot. I wouldnt draft him higher than 66. Even then depending who was on the board I probably still wouldn't pick him.

When teams are so worried about your NFL position they start asking you about offense and K/R only. That says something to me.

I predict him as a draft slip, 4th Round.

I thought he looked good yesterday but we'll see how he looks like with the DBs in a few hours. I believe SS would be his best spot w/a nice front 7.

Tartt is way too undersized to play the SAM. You need a bigger guy that can contain the edge in run support. Tartt could however potentially move up to play the WILL.

Ray-Ray might have the will(pun intended

) power to play SAM. I can possibly see Tartt come in on nickle if what we're discussing currently is the base package.

In the Hawks' scheme he's more Kam Chancellor than any of those guys
