He is very good at avoiding direct hits.

It was Miami but not bad for year 2. Kid looks special.

Out of curiosity, did you watch him play North Carolina?

And taken in the 2nd or 3rd? lol, what?? No doubt he is a first rounder

Of course I did. Again, his NFL draft stock negative will be his build. We'll see where he's drafted. But he won't be QB1. I think you can admit that. He may be YOUR QB1, but he won't be the first QB drafted in reality.

Yes I choose my words carefully, I said he is my QB1 right now. Its week 2 and I haven't seen the vast majority of QBs. I saw Rosen get pummelled by Texas A&M, Mayfield used a great short-passing game to rip up OSU, a bit of Rudolph killing Tulsa etc. So far, out of what I've seen (and I don't claim to watch even half of the games played) is Lamar was outstanding and the most impressive. When Rosen faces Stanford I'll be able to get a better opinion on him, and same for Rudolf.

I doubt Mayfield is bigger than Lamar Jackson. Lamar is clearly a superior talent to Mayfield IMHO

What I also know is that barring Lamar falling apart this year or getting injured, he displayed clear 1st round talent.

We will see if Lamar > Baker holds up, lol

If he continues to progress as a passer, the Ravens are basically going to own the AFC North for the foreseeable future.

LJs best attribute is ability to improve. Never saw anything like it in college
Bill Polian should eat fried crow

"I think wide receiver "
This dude's development in the last three years has been exciting to watch.

The marquise brown throw was beautiful . I can't believe this dude is this good so far. Slept on him for sure.

Reading the first couple pages of this thread is funny.

Some of y'all assumptions on this kid didn't age to well.

Glad he's proving a bunch of you wrong.
I was right about Deshaun Watson being good, but I was totally wrong with this guy. Thought he would be a bust.

The three QBs I always want to watch on NFL Game Pass after Sunday are the games with Kyler Murray (just interested to see how he looks), Mahomes, and This dude.

He's looked really good. But I'm gonna be that guy who points out he beat the Dolphins and the Cardinals without PP21. I ain't crowning him yet

Deshaun was the one that I really felt hard for.

Jackson...electrifying. I knew he would tare it up in the NFL.

2 for 2

I don't include the Mahomes trash talk I took part in. I was really REALLY wrong about him.
They built in KC's image. Got great speed at receiver, a nice tight end. Lamar will likely be more of a runner than Mahomes but got to hand it to Roman. He may be running a nice o.

We'll see if this keeps up, but the better they look it kinda exposes Alex Smith, Colin Kaepernick, and Coach Harbs during their time in SF doesn't it?
