Sports Illustrated's cover..

JOLTIN JOE !!

you may wanna google that up..

ANOTHER LESSON FROM ME TO YOU BUDDY!!

Gee, thanks. But I don't give a good god damn what fricking SI puts on their cover. There is only one Joltin' Joe and that's Joe Dimaggio.

Joe couldn't carry Joe's jock strap..

Maybe Vinny Testiverde

Bill Walsh said that Greg Cook was Montana before Montana.
Jack kemp
Alex Smith before the injury if he had a good OL and WR and coaching.

Joe Montana was "Joe Cool". Joe DiMaggio was Joltin Joe before Montana was even born.

Performance wise they were among the few that can be labeled GOAT. Joltin' Joe took it to another level when he married MM.

Agreed on Montana, but DiMaggio isnt even a top 5 all time player. Mays, Ruth, Ted Williams, Hank Aaron, Ty Cobb, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle, etc. were all better. And thats even leaving Bonds out.

Arm strength Jeff George. Elway probably had a slightly bigger arm than Marino but both had canons. Although in my opinion Marino probably threw the nicest ball I've ever seen

it's true. with great coaching, OL, RBs, TEs, WRs, Alex would've thrown the ball 200 yards off one leg.
Solely arm strength, Jamarcus Russell has everyone beat.

Jamarcus doesn't have the arm strength of Dan MgWire.
One of his early QB coaches has written that he once saw Dan Fouts throw the ball 100 yards through the air. He explained that it wasn't a game-time throw and Fouts had a few steps to wind up and throw, but still - Fouts had a hell of an arm.

I only called Joltin Joe (montana) on my post because of SI's cover "joltin joe" when he beat the Eagles "great pass defense" in Philly..

I NEVER SAID he was THE REAL OR THE ORIGINAL JOLTIN JOE..
