Jalen Ramsey CB LA Rams

How much draft capital would it take to move up from 20 to lets say 3? Cause if Ramsey was in the draft knowing what they know about him he would be a top 3 pick if not 1. So you give up a 1 and you receive Ramsey the other 1 is the payment for that opportunity to get him. He is under contact for 2 years still there is plenty of time to get everyone covered.

It doesn't matter that hes under contract for 2 more years. He wants to be payed now. And if you refuse, he can just demand a trade again or just sit out.

I think I saw somewhere he will honor the last 2 years of his contract but is dead set on going to Free Agency.

And the check's in the mail. I just can't see them trading two 1st rounders and not being able to address the O line. People will be screaming for the next 2 years especially if Jimmy gets hurt.

If thats the case, that wouldn't be that bad.

NOT sure why we just wont pull the trigger on this guy..

We should make the trade because Sherman is a season away from being our starting FS.. We have the money to pay Jalen, and he'll be worth every penny of it...

Just imagine having Jalen and Spoon developing to a very very good cover corner.. our defense will all be hitting their PRIME all at one time..

Plus, those WRs here in Los Angeles (Rams) are really something..

If Ramsey is such a good deal why aren't any of the other teams like KC and the Eagles all over it. They have more draft capital to give up than we do and they are closer to the SB. A player like Ramsey could make the difference for them but still no deal. That big contract he wants has a way of screwing up a roster because it ripples down. Every guy will want more when their turn comes or they walk. How much will we need to pay Buckner? What about Kittle? What if Jimmy holds out after Ramsey signs a big contract? I think teams are hoping that the price will come down to a 1st and maybe a 2nd or 3rd.

In the mean time we have what we have. Everyone was quick to write off Verrett but he wasn't expecting to play in that game and it was his first action in ages. Let's see if he can improve with an extra week of practice and knowing he has a chance to start. He had a lot of rust and it showed.

Oh believe me KC is all over it. (I'm here). they have cap issues. They have to worry about being able to sign Chris Jones who is a critical part of their D. Also I've heard they have a QB who is pretty good who is going to need a new contract sooner than later. Although they could keep him and not sign him until after the 2021 season but that would be foolish.

Now THAT is interesting. See this is what I was asking before. Give him the Ronnie Lott treatment. I like that idea. Also might keep Sherm around another couple years would I think would be great for the development of Spoon and Ramsey.

It is if you are giving up two first round picks to acquire said player.

Late picks. Better than drafting Jimmie Ward and Garrett with those late 1st picks.

And for this year the nickel package would be killer.

Pretty sure Sherm has said he can envision a move to FS at some point. I'd offer 2021 1st and 2020 3rd.
