Lol jk, but Jimmy and the Hawks defense did not get along

How many more Percy trades do the Seahawks need?

Then again maybe the Percy trade wasn't that bad.

Yeah sure he didn't play most of 2013-2014 but when he did, he was key and help cement that SB win (taking away ANY CHANCE for momentum building for the Broncos in the second half).

And perhaps if the Percy trade didn't happen in 2014-2015 the team never finds their way back into the SB (despite the loss).

anyway, coulda woulda shoulda. I'm hoping the Seahawks FO learned enough from the Percy trade that this won't be Percy 2.0

After 20-min group interview with TE Jimmy Graham, if he was hurt/irked/disappointed about coming to #Seahawks, he hid it well.

Jimmy Graham says he knows No. 80 is hanging in rafters retired at CenturyLink Field (Largent). "Clearly 80's done for me." Says maybe 88.

Maybe, Harvin would've taken away any momentum building from the Pats in the fourth qtr, and the outcome would've been different.

IMO, the Harvin trade didn't really help them win or lose a SB. All it did was make Hawks lose draft picks.

Borland gonna cover graham

To be fair nobody ever covered him before on our team. And nobody will now either. Also if you noticed it seems to be a league wide problem. Covering a 6'7" 265 lb. monster who runs fast and has great hands seems to be a problem for 31 other teams for years and years. I don't see anybody having much of an answer for him.

In our case it won't matter much because we are on the way down. We are in rebuild mode anyway and not even close to the Seattle category. Our matchups won't be competative.

You can't be serious. In the two games prior to last year, he COMBINED for ~70 yards. He had ~70 yards in his best game against us, covered by Borland and Willhoite. Yes, he got two tds, but the Saints had enough weapons to spread out our coverage, and the Seahawks do not.

What's more scary, Drew Brees throwing to Jimmy Graham,

Wilson throwing to Jimmy Graham. (now with no O-line)

Not that worried.

Anyone know the over-under on Wilton's Hail Mary percentage next season?

With Graham, thats all you need to do is throw it up. They probably gonna win alotta games like that, and this time they won't be lucky catches. The best way to defend Graham is disrupt Wilson. I won't be surprised if the Hawks go after Stevie (they'll find a financial way) to compliment Baldwin. With Lynch, Graham, Baldwin, Stevie (or similar), and a running Wilson......Seattle is gonna win many games and lets not forget they already have a great D.

This is probably truly the season the niner offense will need to pick up the slack. Not saying the niner D is gonna drop, but I don't know that they'll be as dominant in previous seasons with Mangini at the helm now and the loss of Willis, and questionable CB's.

wilson. he buys time. he's slippery, best scrambler i've ever seen, even in tight space he wiggles free. brees cant move anymore - hence hte increase in INT's - he just unloads when he feels pressure.

russell turned garbage into production. jimmy is going to be dangerous. less overall receptions, but i can see more big plays.
the combo of defenses worrying about jimmy getting off the line with a free release and play action to lynch will also open up more running lanes for russell and cause a few more blow coverages by safeties creating deep balls.

wilson will continue to get better. dude is special.

hawks add a DGB to their WR corps, it's ova!
This is a huge get for the seahawks. The play action with Lynch, threat of Wilson running it, will allow Graham to get open and cause big problems. If i was seattle i wouldnt bother taking a high pick on a WR at all. They dont need one. Baldwin, Kearse, and Matthews are enough.

They have lost O-line and defensive players. Their 2nd round pick and others will be used in these spots. Seahawks, Packers, Arizona are likely the top 3 NFC teams right now, with Giants close behind. I like a pick up of Vereen and a healthy Cruz and Beckham on the outside is deadly.
We just gotta rough this boy up:

New England continued the strong defense it's played all year by holding star tight end Jimmy Graham without a catch for the first time in 46 games, dating back to the middle of his rookie season in 2010. He limped off the field after Kyle Arrington intercepted a pass intended for him, but returned.

"The one thing they do a good job with is they disrupt you at the line of scrimmage really better than anyone," Saints coachSean Payton said. "They do a really good job of getting hands on receivers and tight ends."
Reid will have to cover him

Doubt he is there until the end of the 2nd. With the Hawks luck though...
