I was at the Chargers game and didn't he give up a TD in the corner of the EZ?

The Chargers had no hesitation to go after him and it looked like RS tried to play by the rules (to his credit). The game plan by the Chargers is the EAXCT one I've been preaching since Alex was here...dink/dunk (find the holes) and get the CB's moving across the field (laterally, they are slow with their sizes and can't turn as fluid) and RUN right at them. Take your calculated shots deep.

Totally agree. Remember back in 2012 when we played them at The Stick? It was Alex's last start against the Seahawks and we attacked them the exact same way in the 2nd half of that game. It was the most success we've had against that defense, both pass and run.

Chargers matched up well for this reason. They love to stretch the field horizontally and vertically, and utilize the RBs in the passing game to find the open zones in the defense.

A dominant team under a good coach is not 14-19 on the road. That is pathetic. Just goes to show you, Seattle is great at home but above average on the road. Not the signs of a dominant team if you ask me.

Actually, Ward was mentioned in this thread, hence me referencing him. Not sure what the Seahawks' road record has to do with anything, "pathetic" or not I'm pretty sure they were "dominant" enough to win the SB, which is sorta the point, right?

And you can make all the excuses you want for the Niners, the rest of the league doesn't care who's hurt or suspended, they're going to have to figure out how to stop killing themselves with penalties, turnovers, and stupid play-calling in order to at least tread water until some of those guys get back. And yippee, they controlled the game for 51 minutes, too bad games are 60 minutes and the Niners horribly mismanaged the last 7 of them.

They were not a dominant team when Pete took over. It took a little time to shape the roster and develop some of the talent to begin growing into becoming a dominant team.

I sure do...I remember how we struggled with the intermediate passing game and on the scoring drives, Alex hurried up the pace and just said, "Screw it...going to take what they give me" and dinked/dunked all the way down the field in no time and I believe it was Walker who scored the final TD. It controlled the clock, the pace, wore them down, kept their offense on the bench and closed out the game. I finally got to see this exact game plan in person with the Chargers for a whole game...using Woodhead a ton, swinging-out, sprinting, short, quick passes out of the backfield and set-up plays off the short-passing game that then set up the inside running game AND the intermediate passes (calculated shots) in the RZ. It didn't look like much but it controlled the clock, the pace, kept their offense on the bench and racked up nearly 400 yards in offense and had every receiver involved. The Hawks were certainly off balance and just couldn't recover. The Hawks did a nice job of making it a game but the Chargers were clearly in control and dominating in every fashion. They also didn't sit back on defense but attacked Wilson and contained him on the edges like how the Bears just schemed to stop CK the same exact way (DE's and DB's up at the LOS far out on the edge). As a result, Lynch only had 36 yards and the PA game was gone and Wilson was scrambling for his life but they don't have a Golden Tate anymore who can make up for that. They were also ready for Harvin's fly-sweeps and being very physical with him (which is what you want to do...do NOT give him clean releases).

Lol. What a liar. Just Another pattern of behavior for him.

Lets say You are Richard Sherman, and you truly believe you're the best corner in the game. What do you do after a loss like that?

1) Talk to the media still declaring you're the best, despite losing the game, and just look like a fool. Not to mention the Team would appreciate you not making the game about you.

2) Talk to the media declaring you're mediocre and the Chargers beat you fair and square so "haters" and critics can be happy, even though you don't believe it at all. And hell even if Sherman did do this, critics would still not believe him and say things like "looks like Sperman took some interview lessons from the robot midget". So it's pointless.

Instead he chose to stfu, and take his loss. Well not entirely he did tweet some crap about being completed on 3 times for no TDs. I'm not a big fan of it. But there is absolutely nothing he could have done in this situation to appease critics like yourself. critics will find reasons to hate him forever. So he owes critics and the media nothing. He lost, Seahawks lost. Niners and Hawks are 1-1 with Cards in the lead.

Nah he took the loss and getting made to look silly a few times on his terms, as he does everything, because he's selfish to the extreme. Nobody hates a player just because they are good. I always hated Dallas but respected the s**t outta guys like Emmit, Moose, Novachek, Allen. I really dislike the Pats, but love me some Vince Wilfork.

People dislike Sherman because he's a selfish douche, and selfish douche-bags will always have critics.

I love it.

"I was standing next to Earl and nobody wanted to talk to me".

Really, is that what he expects people to believe?

They try and force Lynch to talk against his will, but maybe they're bored talking to Sherman?

LOL.

Sherman is such a p***y. I swear he's got to be bipolar or something. After the NFCCG, he was cheesing, egging on Crabtree, and had no problems whatsoever finding a camera. Same stunt he pulled when they beat the 'Skins in the playoffs, and with the whole "You mad bro?" thing.

Now, as the most "colorful" personality on the Seahawks, he really wants us to believe that NOBODY wanted to talk to him after the Chargers game? Also, that he himself had NOTHING to say?

That'd certainly be a first.

Cut the crap Shermy. Everyone sees you for what you are. You're a dweeb, albeit a very talented dweeb, that loves to dish but can't take it. When the Seahawks win, you're all over the media boasting. But when they lose, you're nowhere to be found, complaining about the refs, or pointing to individual statistics; any attempt to avoid addressing the topic at hand.

So no, you're not the brave and powerful "lion" that you want us all to believe you are. You're an insecure child, and your personality reeks of false confidence. That's why people are so quick to criticize you. You can't talk sh*t incessantly about how good you are, and the tuck tail and run the moment that little facade is exposed on the field. The greats don't do that.

You should try taking your own advice and man up.......bro.

Sherman is the most overrated "shutdown corner" ever. QBs should not be scared of this guy. If he can't hold, he gets burned.

if he cant hold he gets burned ? that either has to be true of everyone who has ever played the game or he shouldn't have made the cut in his first camp.

Ever seen Sherman blanket a receiver without having laid a finger on him?

Yeah.....me either.....

What the hell were you doing at the Seahawks game
dick sherman is a f**king loser. his team gets worked, his DEFENSE gets worked, and all he can talk about after the game is "well i only gave up 3 catches! no TD's! no big plays! *I* wasn't the one who let the chargers score a touchdown! *I* wasn't the one who gave up big plays! so don't pin this loss on me!"

what a bum
Methinks a BLoyd and an accurate throwing Keap would do well against Richard Sheman.

Stevie J doesn't look as elusive just yet.Keap doesn't have time to see the field as much with Jonathan Martin on the field.
