Jimmy Ward isn't a big mouth proclaiming he's the best in the league and is just a rookie. He should have never been on Marshall in that game.
With that being said I don't think Sherman got worked at all but I am glad someone actually threw some passes in his direction. I still don't think he's that's great and can be exposed, but the QBs of the opposing team can't be afraid to throw his way and if you have some speedsters like the Chargers do then you can definitely get to him.

Lets say You are Richard Sherman, and you truly believe you're the best corner in the game. What do you do after a loss like that?

1) Talk to the media still declaring you're the best, despite losing the game, and just look like a fool. Not to mention the Team would appreciate you not making the game about you.

2) Talk to the media declaring you're mediocre and the Chargers beat you fair and square so "haters" and critics can be happy, even though you don't believe it at all. And hell even if Sherman did do this, critics would still not believe him and say things like "looks like Sperman took some interview lessons from the robot midget". So it's pointless.

Instead he chose to stfu, and take his loss. Well not entirely he did tweet some crap about being completed on 3 times for no TDs. I'm not a big fan of it. But there is absolutely nothing he could have done in this situation to appease critics like yourself. critics will find reasons to hate him forever. So he owes critics and the media nothing. He lost, Seahawks lost. Niners and Hawks are 1-1 with Cards in the lead.

lol. he did not choose to stfu. he immediately went to twitter and started whining to people who had the nerve to say he got exposed, which is a pattern of behavior for him. that is what i was referencing in terms of him being insecure.

But Richard Sherman did not single handedly lose the game for them like Kaep did for the Niners tonight (and like he did in the NFCCG game as well). btw before you get all crazy because my name has "hawk" in it, I don't think I said anything even half as bad as what is going on in the main forum right now by Niner fans.

If you want to talk about Kap, take it to the Kap thread

Sherman is a b*tch and got his salad tossed. He is so insecure he cant even face the media when he isnt on top of his game. Its his MO since college, loud mouth prick who cant handle when things come back in his face. Same reason he tells a guy to hit him but whines like a b*tch when the guy actually does it. He's the douchebag that talks all the sh*t in a run up to a fight but either gets laid out or runs away when it actually goes down. Anyone who took a psych class can tell you the entire team is insecure blowhards. Lynch walked off the field before the game was over... just wait till the Broncos win, those dudes are mental midgets.

Watching SD beat the Seahawks & taking shots at Dick Sherman made my day! Sherman is one of those players that "we love to hate" because of his big mouth! I kept texting my Seahawk buddies saying..."You mad bro!" after they lost...I was LMAO...

Then Kap and the 49ers follow it up with a choke!

Today, Philip Rivers went straight after him and made some plays that made him look silly. And it was very sweet. Now all this bs talk about the Seahawks going 16-0 can go away. What was funny is that some of the people on the Webzone were predicting that they'd run the table. Preposterous.

Was he beat for a TD?

Not directly, but he had a s**tty game by any measure. Surely for "the best corner" in the game, this is unacceptable.

Oh okay so he didn't allow a TD.

Does it matter? He did allow drives to extend, resulting in scores.

i agree partially with zag. Does it really matter that Sherman allowed 3 passes? Ward allowed 3 touchdowns, Kap gave them 3 interceptions. I wouldn't be to concerned with Sherman giving up 3 receptions, its not like hes gonna shut everyone down every single game.

I don't agree with the statement of Kap losing the game, he contributed but not all on him. I blame the playcalling more than i do Kap.

I dislike Sherman, but celebrating the fact that he gave up 3 receptions is a bit of a stretch for me..
He's just a normal guy. We can go at him. We took some shots at him. We are not going to shy away from him. He's not really a shutdown corner. We definitely wanted to come out and show we could go any way we wanted to and that we were in control of the game.

WR Allen
It's funny how some ignore the stats and hear what they want. 3 catches, all for less than 15yrd each and no TD's. So Sherman's worst day is better than most DB's best, but yea he got worked...SMH

its more about being a little b***h and not talking to the media after a loss and then hitting up twitter to fire back. hes a loser. remember the game in sf? when it was a glorified practice? then went on to blame the refs in the post game? you guys dont lose often but when you do look how the guy acts, he even does it after some wins. worst winner and worst loser in all of sports.
Okay, That I get.

Thanks for being reasonable. No one can question Sherman's talent, but everyone should question his attitude and maturity. I would feel sorry for him if he didn't come off as the worst human being in Football.

Or if you watch the game you realized he gave up 5 catches which led to 1st downs on TD drives.... he gave up 3 to Allen alone then 2 to Royal. Stats will only count the times when he is one on one and the coverage is blatant. After his 3rd catch to Allen and then missing his opportunity he was when he is laying on the ground pounding his fist... that was still early in the game.

Sorry, the opposite is true. Any all-pro player is allowed to have a s**tty game once in a while.
i can't wait till he gets raped by Manning.
