Aaron Rodgers told Sherman that he hoped he'd get some work in the future after not throwing a single pass to his side of the field. Sherman must have started believing the hype.
Today, Philip Rivers went straight after him and made some plays that made him look silly. And it was very sweet. Now all this bs talk about the Seahawks going 16-0 can go away. What was funny is that some of the people on the Webzone were predicting that they'd run the table. Preposterous.
Was he beat for a TD?
Not directly, but he had a s**tty game by any measure. Surely for "the best corner" in the game, this is unacceptable.
Oh okay so he didn't allow a TD.
Does it matter? He did allow drives to extend, resulting in scores.
I would be more concerned with how Kaep played today then Sherman allowing a couple drives to extend. Yes, The Hawks did lose, and they got some work to do on defense if they expect to beat the Broncos next week. But Richard Sherman did not single handedly lose the game for them like Kaep did for the Niners tonight (and like he did in the NFCCG game as well). btw before you get all crazy because my name has "hawk" in it, I don't think I said anything even half as bad as what is going on in the main forum right now by Niner fans.
i agree partially with zag. Does it really matter that Sherman allowed 3 passes? Ward allowed 3 touchdowns, Kap gave them 3 interceptions. I wouldn't be to concerned with Sherman giving up 3 receptions, its not like hes gonna shut everyone down every single game.
I don't agree with the statement of Kap losing the game, he contributed but not all on him. I blame the playcalling more than i do Kap.
I dislike Sherman, but celebrating the fact that he gave up 3 receptions is a bit of a stretch for me..
