I think you're letting a draft crush blind you, look at Luck in the play-offs.

4 Interceptions against the Patriots trying to force something to happen, yet people beat up Kap for 3 turn-overs against one of the best defenses to ever play in a far more hostile environment when he was having to do the same.

Not to forget the escape against KC where KC melted down but Luck still threw 3 interceptions against a defense that had disintegrated, ignoring the fact that Charles went out on KC's opening drive injured.

I think Luck is a great player, and he will be a great, but you have to have some serious blinkers on to overlook things like the above whilst pillorying our own QB who took us further against better competition. The Seahawks crushed Denver, and Denver were good enough to beat the both of the teams above.

I can't understand people giving Luck a pass for worse performances against weaker opposition while beating Kap up for strong performances against better teams and in a more hostile environment.

That was not the San Francisco 49ers that were wearing the red jerseys that day.....

Some other team, not us.

And would you have put up serious money that they could have beat us in a rematch? Did you see what we did to the other team that beat us in the stick this year?

You mean that game which was incredibly close at the end of the 3rd, where we only had Boldin as a catching option after Vernon's concussion at Seattle? Where Frank had gashed them for the whole first half before we inexplicably decided we were going pass heavy on a full potato mode from Roman? The one where Luck threw 159yards? For 0 TDs?? That game?

I'll take it as a yes, quiet day in the Alex Smith thread eh? SMH.

You don't have to keep throwing when you're up 27-7.

We have one bounce go our way and Luck is the chump in that game.

Luck also went to a 2 win team and helped get them to the playoffs after 2 years.

CK has more support across the board with his team than Luck has had, so it's difficult to make an apples to apples comparison.

In the 3 years before going 2-14 the Colts won 36 games so people need to stop acting like he is single-handedly winning games.

LOL @ trying to discredit Andrew Luck by bringing up the team's record when PEYTON MANNING was it's QB. Of course they had a good record. They had the greatest regular season QB in NFL history. Look what happened when he didn't play. 2-14. That means that team, without a great QB, is a 2-14 squad. You add Luck, and all of a sudden they are a playoff team again. There is something to be said about that.

At the same time, if you're up 27-7 and haven't thrown the ball well, why should you be credited for the win as a QB?

Don't open that can of worms.. Kaep has made a living on using his legs when he couldn't throw the ball well.
If someone wouldnt mind...which niners have made this list?

Kap #81, Staley #75, Justin Smith #69
Nick Foles at #70 what a friggin' joke. Cuz he's really better than Kap. I'm sorry but guys like Marcell Dareus, Cameron Wake and Derrick Johnson shouldn't rank above Justin. That's straight up bulls**t. The players who voted this list aren't even objective.

I'll admit he made me a believer in his talent when he beat the Hawks too. Hell he beat the Hawks, Broncos and the Niners this year.
