We should have best of seven series each round like NBA

Then the NFL Playoffs would last forever

If a wild card team went 7 games every series the playoffs would last 28 weeks lol

Zero impact on the game ? What's really funny is how some of our fans cannot give credit where it is due.

Wilson was cool, calm and collected all night long. One could not have been any more poised than he was. While they failed to score 7 on their first TWO RZ drives, they got in on the 3rd try, and on the second drive to the RZ he did throw what would have been a touchdown had Irving not made a great play to jar the ball out of Kearse's hands. He helped the offense put up 29 offensive points, threw 2 touchdowns and went 6 for 9 on 3rd down....but he had no impact. Are you really trying that hard to convince yourself he is not as good as he is ? He's a phenomenal young QB who has yet to even reach his full potential and deserves the praise he is receiving.

Any QB can play calm cool and collected when their Defense is ass raping Manning all night long. Lol up by multiple scores all game how else do you expect him to play. If this was a tight game throughout and Wilson played the way he did then I would give him credit. He was very good on 3rd down, I'll give the midget that much

I think we have seen the best of Russell Wilson. Average qb with an elite defense.

I'd say he is a good QB but not an elite or great one. You guys are right in that he is riding on Lynch's shoulders, and if he get's offered $10m+ a year he should give half of it to Lynch, along with an incredibly dominant defense.

The thing that strikes me is that they didn't score a passing TD until the game was already won. They had a safety and 2 field goals, then get a short field from the Chancellor INT and Lynch punches it in. Then it's a Pick 6 and a kick-off return, the game is beyond Denver by that point and no pressure on Wilson to bring it. I thought the Denver defense was pretty poor but I also noticed Wilson was missing open receivers initially though he was good on 3rd downs.

Couple of things about this are going to be interesting next season. Firstly, Wilson seems to have slumped towards the end of the season and not the start. I think if he is contained in the pocket by disicplined defense he struggles. Secondly, the defense means they are almost never playing from behind. If Lynch is bottled and the other team gets a two score lead, I am not sure Seattle can come back without relying on the opposing Def to make some mistakes (which unfortunately we did this season).

I didn't realize the 49ers held multiple teams to no 1st downs until the 2nd quarter. I don't remember them doing that even once... let alone... multiple occasions.

I have told you guys before the season started that Wilson had reached at least 85% of what he can become. Kap has probably reached 60to 65% of what he can become. Wilson has near peaked. He can't get any stronger faster taller or smarter because he has already worked on everything right. Kap is still raw and he is working diligently to improve and I know he will. Kap is already carrying his team whereas Wilson is leading but not carrying. Wilson is now at a minimum top 10 QB in this league to me but he won't every challenge Aaron Rodgers while Kap has beaten him at every turn and has Rodgers thinking that he needs to work out more to come back in better shape. I doubt Wilson has that impact on Rodgers.

Are you kidding me? This dude is legit. He'll pick you apart in the pocket if you give him time. And if you don't? He'll scramble and still kill you with the 3rd down conversion. The only chance you have against this guy is to pressure and contain all at the same time. And not even Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady or Peyton Manning will fare well in a situation like that.

Have to agree. 14-18 from the pocket for 174 and 2 TDs but most of us seem to dial in on the 174 yards and try to minimize the results.

Funny how the same people who say Russell Wilson rode on his defense's coat tails call Colin Kaepernick elite. If that isn't being a biased blind homer nothing is. They are both the same thing except Wilson is a half foot shorter, has less tattoos, doesn't dress like a rapper in press conferences, and is slightly more productive. Show me on paper were Kap is better than Wilson, he isn't. Also Wilson started as a rookie and has one year less NFL experience. So far Wilson's body of work is equal to or better than Kaepernick, not the other way around.

Won't you try asking Greg Cosell and Jaws to show you on film? I give Wilson the edge right now because he is a champ but he isn't the playmaker Colin is and will become. Wilson is the better decision maker right now though...by far! That is the difference. He manages his team much better than Kap right now but he is not the explosive playmaker that Kap will be for years to come. Kap has made plays and has carried us. Wilson has made better decisions and has become a champion. Much respect!!
