He deserves some praise though. He played a very clean game. Made some nice throws, and scrambled effectively. Does he need an amazing defense to win? Probably, but so what. He's not the first nor the last QB to ride a great defense all the way through the SB.

he managed his way to a super bowl trophy. When the defense was dominant, he didn't create costly mistakes to give the game away.

I would call him an extreme example lol. Wilson is 1000x the player that Dilfer ever was.

Yup. That's all they needed. It was good enough to win the SB by 35 points, over the supposed greatest offense of all-time. Not a bad gameplan in my estimation.

Something ours didn't do in the 4th quarter. He played to win and now he's a Super Bowl champ.
55 reg season TD passes and only 1 in the SB. Well played Denver
It's amazing what the oC for the Seahawks did with this team. He draws up plays to get the most out of his average players. Roman doesn't use his superstar players in the correct way and make them look average.

I think it is safe to say that our QB was not the reason we lost to SEA. Yes he made costly mistakes but it was his playmaking that kept us in that game in SEA and he was the reason we were yards away from a return trip to the Super Bowl after having closed the season with nearly 4 consecutive road wins of a playoff atmosphere to get it done. We came startlingly close and had the game been at the Stick as it should have been it would probably be us celebrating today. The least we can do is rally behind our team and support them as we embark on another Quest for 6!

Also, I think this game showed us why the $100 million QB is not beneficial when playing these balanced teams. SEA has a lot of money and talent tied up in their defense and they held the number one offense to 8 points. DEN has a lot tied up on offense and in Peyton and not enough on defense and they got 43 points hung up on them. These QBs thought the game was all about them when in fact SEA showed today it is about the team. QBs want to be paid like LeBron and MJ but in basketball those guys by themselves can make enough impact to swing a championship but in the NFL no one QB can beat a complete team full of defensive studs by themselves. Stop paying them $20 million annually. Rodgers couldn't beat us in GB by himself. He needed Lacy and a defense and even with horrible officiating and inclement home weather he lost to the more complete team and he is the best in the game. Hopefully this win further enforces why Kap should help us help him by getting a deal that both pays him but leaves food to eat for his teammates because not having Crab showed him that he needs help. Peyton even needs a better defense but can they afford one while paying him?

Denver choked big time. Bunch of guys, besides welker and manning, who have litle to no playoff experience at all.

Demarryious Thomas was the only guy that came to play

It was sad to see. It was like a WAC team vs. the SEC powerhouses. I can't believe denver didn't even put up a fightt

Stop paying the QB so much to the point where the whole team feels like it is all on the QB. These QBs can't beat a team by themselves. SEA had a team invested in the win. Every man felt they had an important part to play in winning and they all came to play and they routed these boys!

Yup. This was manning's last chance. Donkeys are not going back with this team.

18-25, 206 yards, 26 yards rushing, 2 TD's, qbr 88., passer rating 123.1

It was more than game management, it just seemed like less because it was such a lopsided win.

Russ is a champ tonight and he balled today but in the real super bowl last month he managed a victory. Kap on then other hand had to try and carry us vs the number one defense and came up one play short. Russ gets the upper hand right now because he is the champ and Kap should probably have no eyebrows right now. LOL!

If anything, the win tonight validated how good Kap is, and could be. -Manning and Brees were just garbage against Seattle, and you could say they had better offenses/coordinating than us, while Kap took Seattle to the brink in their own s**tty house. I feel really good about things right now, there's always room for perspective... and jello.
