After watching the game, does ANYONE still doubt that we would have slammed the Broncos and Manning on our quest for 6? I know circumstances would be a little different, but I cant help feeling like that late game slip up in Seattle DIRECTLY cost us number 6? Am I the only one?

You're not the only one. Most people here felt the winner of SF-SEA would win the SB. Only the f**ktards on mainstream media picked Peyton to win.
Man...you're right.... I went into that game knowing it was the SUPERBOWL, but on the Road against the 12 Stooges and that old dude who rang the bell like it was a 300M Greco-Roman War-Cry. I really hope our NEW STADIUM in S.C. will provide us with at least the same, if not a better HOME-FIELD advantage that puts fear into our rivals, energy into our FANS, biased inspiration for the REFS, and an accelerating motivation for our players, esp newbies....
Had to write this... but let's give credit where credit is due! Congrats Seattle!

They killed Denver... Congrats to them, they deserved it and clearly the NFC Championship game was the Superbowl; it's where the last two great teams met!

making my peace here & putting closure on a brutal season, the Seahawks deserve this win. Can't help but admire players like Wilson, Lynch, Baldwin, The whole defense minus Richard Sherman, its a good group they have up there.

Do we all agree that Eli is better than Peyton?

Heck yea Eli is a boss in Superbowls.

yea deff Eli > peyton, Eli is money when it comes time to make a play.,
lol Peyton's noodle arm was pathetic. That was almost Ken Dorsey-esque in terms of ducks.

I'm so anxious for 2014 already!!!!!!

Tate & Baldwin are FAs.
Bennett, Browner, & Thurmond are FAs as well.

Sherman and Earl Thomas are in the last year of their deals in 2014.

We've some FAs of our own but we are in better position to keep our guys.

Living in Colorado Springs, I've been to the brink of nausea for the past couple of weeks with all the Bronco-mania. It's been about as bad as when I lived in Texas and had to listen to all the Cowboy chest-thumping. So, for that I thank Seattle for not making non-Bronco fans like myself have to go through any more of it. Congrats to the 'Hawks, they deserve to be champions. We know we can play with 'em...so next year ought to be something once again in the NFC West.

LMAOOOOOOOOO I feel u bro! I feel u!! It was so much Peyton BEST EVR, PEYTON VS the WORLD, BEST OFFENSE EVER INVENTED mixed with relentless and SCATHING Racism, race-baiting, and prejudice commentary/discourse ALL OVER AMERICA......that nearly all of the Black/Latino/etc 49er & football fans in general who HATE the HAWKS and Dick Sherlock, found (ourselves) forced into defending our racial and socio-cultural integrity by rooting for the rival Hawks, after being attacked, demonized, and marginalized for weeks by the Media, closet racists, and so called "fans".

Speaking of which D. Baldwin is a RFA. He's worth at least kicking the tires, he could fit well in our offense as a competent slot receiver. The sticking point is his grudge against Harbs.
Sad that these avid fans, radio hosts, fringe media voices preferred race-baiting, not football as a platform and fanatically denounced entire communities and fan-bases as monolithic groups identical to Sherman and pitted against the "class" of the Martyr Manning...... in a game that supposed to supersede racial division and promotes unity above all. SMH AND I fu*ckn HATE THE HAWKS!!

Russell Wilson won a championship. That happened lol

Defenses have handed the Super Bowl to many different quarterbacks.

Trent Dilfer
Brad Johnson
Joe Flacco
And now Russell Wilson
Brad Johnson had a few good years and was a Pro Bowler in 2002 the year Tampa Bay won the Super Bowl. I guess you must have been away from the TV set during last year's play-offs, Flacco lit it up. How did his defense carry him when both the Broncos and 49ers lay over 30 on them in the play-offs? And Wilson? He puts up numbers similar to Kap and you think Kap is elite, you seem to me contradicting yourself there.

Kearse of the Seahawks is so underrated it's not funny.Wilson still has not shown me anything except he plays tecmo bowl style(run back and around then throw it).The Legion of Boom is legit and the best unit I've seen probably ever(and yes they do some suspect moves but hey it works)
It's really funny how the media is just whoring Wilson around right now, when he literally had zero impact on the game, and couldn't score three straight times in the redzone. -Guess they gotta put a positive image up since the real contributors are scumbags, whom are hated across America.

He deserves some praise though. He played a very clean game. Made some nice throws, and scrambled effectively. Does he need an amazing defense to win? Probably, but so what. He's not the first nor the last QB to ride a great defense all the way through the SB.

Trent Dilfer being a prime example....
