Or maybe, just maybe, none of these incidents happened the way they said they did, or happened at all, or were incidents to begin with (run-of-the-mill stuff that happens all the time on football teams, such as getting frustrated on the sidelines while the team is struggling), and the media put him under the microscope and created controversy out of nothing.

This is a gross media manipulation of events. A reporter asked Owens if he thought the 49ers went too conservative, and Owens said that he hoped the outcome of that game would make Mariucci reconsider really destroying teams, because sometimes he seemed to want to spare other teams and their head coaches the embarrassment of getting blown out.

What they have since buried is the fact that Owens had gotten sick from the same pills the week before (these were prescribed to him for an injury he was currently rehabbing, a broken finger, that he suffered in the prior game against the Redskins), as Bill Parcells noted in a press conference BEFORE the "suicide attempt" happened. So the timeline, within the span of a week and a half, is:

1. Owens breaks his finger
2. Owens has surgery on finger
3. Owens begins rehabbing finger, and is prescribed vicodin
4. Owens becomes sick from vicodin pills and is given a more mild type of pain medication.
5. Parcells notes this the next week (coming off bye) in press conference.
6. Owens either suddenly attempts suicide with the vicodin, or he ran out of the mild pills and took the vicodin because he was in pain after rehabbing his finger really hard. The vicodin basically knocked him out, and his publicist dialed 9-1-1.

This was an accident that occurred when the two were exchanging smack talk. Hall, who was getting into it all game with Cowboys players, including Marc Columbo shoving him over a pile, tried to make it sound like Owens intentionally spat in his face, but it was merely an accident and the two are fine now.

You'd be better off claiming it was a typo. For it to have been auto-correct, that means you didn't know how to spell "suits" in the first place.

Owens wasn't at a job interview, he was at a football game. Since when does he need to wear a suit when he's attending a football game? The other guys were dressed up because two of them are in broadcasting, and the other is the team owner.
