Al Davis is seriously looking like a genius/hero to the NFLPA right now. -He knew the way Gene Upshaw/Paul Tagliabue did things, and didn't want any part of this deceptive crap.

Meanwhile Paul Burmeister sounds like he wants to kill people on NFL Network. Like somebody else said earlier, I can feel a lot of anger on the NFL Network right now...

anyways im really starting 2 not care if the lockout gets lifted or not! i hope these players & owners get hit where it hurts. their pockets! stop buying their jerseys! stop going to games!cause blackouts until they get the message!!! they obviosly do not care about us fans. they deserve to be turned into the NHL! dont be suckers ppl we need to make a statement

1) I don't know, I was just following suit cuz they're funny.

2) We lose out of they don't lift the lockout, too. We don't get money, but we lose out of the game that we all love. If you're posting on a football fan site in the middle of the summer about the lockout then you must be a diehard like the rest of us. I don't want my enjoyment delayed any longer than it absolutely has to. Am I happy this is dragging on? Hell no! But I don't wish this to be carried on just to spite the rich peoples' wallets.

I love football as much as anyone here, but I'd be willing to boycott the NFL for this year just to get the message across and make sure we never have to deal with BS like this again. The problem is, everybody would have to be on board and that's just not gonna happen. Boycotting in smaller numbers isn't going to do sh*t.

I don't think there's anything they could do that would make me boycott an NFL season.
This is a he said she said.

Goodell just said the owners agreed to the deal negotiated with the NFLPA. The NFLPA says they didn't negotiate anything.

100% this is the players playing games.
i know the owners tried to get sneaky with the players, but the motto for 2morrow
chris mortenson saying the finishing touches are really minor and he's confident the nflpa will vote and approve the new cba

You are officially a walking contradiction.

see thats why i have a hard time believing the players. People are saying the deal sounds fair and the players knew most of what was on the table. Any changes sound minor in the counter proposals and the players hate being told what to do. The whole thing with the owners trying to sneak it in sounds stupid and I have a hard time believing most players who sound like they are completely out of the loop. I hope they calm down and agree to it tomorrow.

...... wouldn't it be a fantastic thing if it could be pulled off?

....never gonna happen though.

The players are getting most of what they want, but yes there will things they don't like in it.

You would suck at negotiations.
