Harbaugh storms into the negotiation office and yells "WHAT'S YOUR DEAL"

Ooooh boy, I think talks have ended, there will be no football this year.

SI_JimTrotter: CLARIFICATION: the second email was from NFLPA General Counsel Richard Berthelsen, not DeMaurice Smith.

uh..no

lol, just no deal tonight, they will agree they just want to do it on their own time. There are a few minor things to negotiate but they want to see the entire documents and make the vote when they want to.

Political strategies going on.
NFLPA conference call over - no vote taken. Officials leaving here. Players want to see all remaining details resolved and see full language Of any deal before voting on anything.

Sounded far too intelligent to have come from Smith.

Can't blame him, he's getting tired of having to do bumpers and outros for football follies.

adbrandt: I'm wondering where mediator, Judge Arthur Boylan fits in this miscommunication. He met with both sides this week on where things stood, reviewed terms, etc.

Basically, what the owners tried to do by sending over an offer that was not fully negotiated with the players.

This is where the players story doesn't add up. They keep saying the owners snuck in some stuff but at the same time claim they haven't seen any document. Both can't be true. Since you wouldn't know what they snuck in if you didn't read the damn thing.

I stick by my initial assesment that the players are making a power move to try and get more out of the deal. Probably many of them didn't like the deal Smith negotiated for them so they are trying to make it seem like they never negotiated anything and the owners are just making up their own s**t.

I was just about to say something about this. Seemed like everything was on track
ochocinco: Smart move by the owners to gain positive public perception and pressure the players into a bad deal shifting the negativity on us #kudos
