Javon Kinlaw-DT-South Carolina

Jesus christ, it's hard not to fall in love with this dude. His athletic gifts jump off the screen. Dude absolutely manhandles people. Pay attention to when he's actually in an attacking stance and not in a run defending frog stance. When his feet are staggered and he's firing off to kill the QB, the dude is insane lol. Kocurek's scheme would only unleash this potential on every snap because there are no frog stances in his fronts.

Talk about whooping someone's ass. Kinlaw got into the center's framework so fast that poor 79 had no chance to set his feet.

Went back to my draft thoughts thread in the mock section. In December I had determined Kinlaw was my favorite prospect in the draft. After flirting with Ruggs and Wills, I'm rebounding back to my first love, that filthy whore.

Well, NY - I can't find it anywhere, I swear I read that he tore it a couple of years ago. But, all I can find is a hip injury in 2017. I guess that's good news, since I dropped him in my rankings. I guess now I feel better taking him if he's available at #13.

Yup no ACLs

Maybe he's confusing him with Ross Blacklock who did have a Achilles injury prior to 2018 ?

No, it was Kinlaw - I just can't find the article that I read it from. I did a search and nothing came up, but a hip injury.

Kinlaw left the senior bowl from knee inflammation.

I think you mixed up the timeline of the hip injury with the knee issue from the senior bowl.

Yeah, probably.
Dude gets blown out of so many plays, it's hard to get excited about spending #13 on him.

cool to know that a dumbass can lead us to a super bowl

Trent Baalke "lead" us to the Superbowl. What's your point?

It's really easy to love Kinlaw. He's a total freak and oozes elite, dominant traits. The thought of him being unleashed in Kocurek's 1 gap and attack scheme is definitely tantalizing. I love how violent he plays and his motor is crazy for a dude that size. I still can't how f**king big he is lol. Not to mention his story is crazy.

If you're going to draft an IDL early in the first, he better game-wrecking, double-digit sack potential. Kinlaw is certainly that guy.

He is a monster - maybe if all of the receivers are gone, Shanalynch pulls the trigger.
He said at the combine that he has knee tendonitis.
