ABOVE THE LAW !!!
A-T-L, shawty!
One year later, Kinlaw is exactly who we thought he was. High, high-end traits, but the dude needs a ton of work. I don't expect him to make the same jump that Quinnen Williams made next year because Kinlaw is so far behind him in technique. Kinlaw struggled heavily with pad level. He gets outmuscled by guys he's substantially stronger than due to his poor pad level. In regards to pass-rushing, he's in the early stages of learning how to apply a pass-rush plan. When he tries to apply a plan and gets countered, he just gets stuck. Dude is too damn big and strong to be getting stuck. His hand technique needs a ton of work. He's not active enough with his hands, and when he is active, he struggles with timing and placement.

This was Kinlaw's only full NFL sack. The guard actually wins this rep. Kinlaw starts off nice with the jab steps, but he never arrives violently with his hands. Way too passive. The guard gets inside his frame and is able to control and jerk him to the floor because Kinlaw plays so damn high. However, great effort and athleticism by Kinlaw to maintain balance and keep hustling. This, unfortunately, is not sustainable.

Dude is a boom or bust prospect. The guy is raw as hell. Most of his production on the field is him simply kicking the guy's ass across from him by virtue of being the more athletic and talented individual. There's no go-to move or counter. He simply tries to bully the guy across from him the majority of the time. There's no doubt that this dude is insanely gifted. He's over 300 lbs but looks like a chiseled edge rusher. But he's extremely raw, plays with little technique, and rarely demonstrates a pass-rushing plan.

There's going to be a lot of pressure on the DL coach of whichever team drafts him to coach him up.

Well he has the coaching and will get plenty of opportunity.
