Kelvin Harmon, WR, NC State

6-3, 213 lbs

I've been diving into Harmon's tape over this weekend, and I've identified my favorite "big-body WR" in the draft. Harmon is a really well-rounded prospect. He has excellent size and plays big. Good athlete with very solid route running. Strong ball skills with the ability to play above the rim. Furthermore, Harmon is far and away the best blocking WR I've watched. And finally, and most importantly, is his movement. The first thing I look for in big wide receivers is how well they move, change direction, get in and out of breaks, etc. Harmon is smooth for a big WR. This man is no Frankenstein.

What round?
I've seen him mocked in the 1st round mostly but if him or Harry are available in the 2nd I'd love it..

If he can last till the 25th to 31st pick I'd trade up for him. Then again there's gonna be some decent options in the off season.

I was thinking that as well, my target in free agency is Tyrell Williams, while cutting Garçon, so if he's signed idk if the niners take a WR with an early round pick, Williams, Goodwin, Pettis, Bourne, and James I think is nice..
I thought there was a thread on him already? Guess not, weird cause he's considered the best WR in the draft by many. He's going in the 1st so don't get your hopes up, I don't see us trading back up for him after trading up in the 2nd for Pettis last year

But trading up for Pettis is exactly the reason I brought trading up for Harmon. It means Lynch and Shanahan is willing to do so.
Would pretty much be the prototypical X receiver for this offense. Put Goodwin opposite him and Pettis in the slot and that would be a very intriguing receiver group.

Yes sir!

I think a lot of people (fans) push WRs up the draft (sexy pick fantasy) yet we always see some of them drop a little. I don't see multiple WRs going in the 1st this yr....I would love to snag Harmon with our 33rd (hopefully) overall pick. If they move up a little I'm all for it. (Package 2nd and 4th has the value of 26th overall pick)

Kids ball-skills are insane as well

NY, now this guy reminds me of Michael Thomas.

I don't see it with only 5 picks. But this is a WR worth trading up for

Thanks to NY on the tip off on your thread/find. You literally just described the perfect Z in this WCO and a skill set we're badly lacking right now. Note you didn't mention speed...something you truly need at the X (Goodwin).

Goodwin --- Pettis --- Harmon

That should be a very effective, productive and CHEAP receiver unit that allows us to spend elsewhere.
