Listening to a podcast with Crocker he brought up the idea of bringing in Jason McCourty or Claiborne...both had decent yrs and are good vets. The goal would be to have Moore/spoon beat out the vet, but if not we're in good shape regardless (depth wise). We can always use DBs.

I don't see an early pick on DB, we got your guys that need to develop more. Going after a good vet or someone that gets cut to add competition would be a good plan imo.

The saints took Lattimore with a high pick, I'm thinking top 10 but don't think top 5. Lattimore has helped tremendously change the saints defense.
The niners should only take Greedy if they trade down, not at # 2

Add him to the list of about 20 players the fans want us to draft. Too bad we can't get all of them.

I don't know about that. Greedy is pretty damn good. I don't know why people are acting like he wasn't the best player on the D. He was Delpit and White are good but Greedy is better.

I think it's close between the two, but I give Byron the edge because of his ability in zone coverage. He plays with significantly better eyes, spacing and route processing than Greedy does. I think Greedy is your guy for a heavy-man scheme.

Greedy played zone at LSU and I think he played zone better than he did in man. I'll give the edge to Greedy cause of those freakish long arms. Like a guy who won't have to make contact with a receiver to reach in front and knock the ball down.

That's fair. TBH, I don't love with either guy, and I hate trying to evaluate CBs without the all-22,

so I'll gracefully bow out from the discussion.

That's fine. I'm not pounding the table for Greedy by any means. He ain't Jaire good but I do think he is good. I think White must develop a lot but he does have the tools and Delpit well I'm just not seeing it with him. The Eric Berry comparisons and all that I've heard is a little bit much. He's good but did these guys even watch Berry in college. My knock on Delpit is he seems to lose his footing rather frequently. Like a lot of plays is the running backs tripping over him or him getting back on his feet to make a play.
