Marquis Haynes - 6'3" 225 pounds - DE - Ole Miss
30 sacks in 4 seasons and 2017 isn't finished yet. If they miss on Harold Landry, Bradley Chubb, Clelin Ferrell and Arden Key, there is always Marquis Haynes!!!
He has a little bit of Von Miller in him!!!
I just don't know too much about his background yet.

At 225 it seems he could add 10-15 lbs and play SAM.

Yeah 225 will get thrown around big time.

He will turn 25 during his rookie year, and will need to add weight for the NFL. I like him, but I think he ends up as a 4th-5th rounder

I'd take Clellin Ferrell in the late first or early 2nd. I'd take Haynes in the late 3rd. Speed nickel rusher until he puts on good weight.

I'm not too worried about his age, at least he's matured and not some young 21 year old with attitude. I think his long journey to Ole Miss may have humbled him.
I'm gonna predict 2nd round pick, that's just too much production for him to be a mid rounder.

Its a shame Nick Bosa is only a Sophomore. He's a carbon copy of his older brother. They've both got some of the sweetest hand technique. He'd easily be ER1 in this draft.
Sam Hubbard is also having a big game.
Sam Hubbard is also having a big game.

He's having a great game against Texas Tech, guy is all over the place.Originally posted by Hysterikal:Originally posted by ChaunceyGardner:Ogbonnia Okoronkwo 6'3" 214lbs OLB
He looks good pressuring the QB especially for his size
Offensive lineman take dumps heavier than that.

I see him like a Haason Reddick. Likely too light to play up on the line of scrimmage full time, but he can move to an off the ball weak side linebacker in the NFL. he is a straight gamer, flying around all over the place. As far as edge rushing: great quickness, explosion, and bend. If he doesnt win the edge tho, I cant see him have any success against NFL tackles, even if he does get into their chest.

right now, I'd say no. Arden Key has the freaky length but not the production to back it up.
