There is a excuse for not coming away with the QB you want with the #2 pick. He doesn't exist. You say you can't gamble on a guy not being there when you pick in the second round when I could just as easily say you can't gamble on taking a second or third round talent in the first round with the second overall pick because you really need a QB.
