Jamarcus Russell pasted the eye test as well....I saw way too many WTF throws from Kizer this yr. He played like poo in just about every big game this yr.

I will say the team around him was terrible but, accuracy was a issue and his pocket presence is a issue...he waits too long to get rid of the ball trying to hit the home run play.

I think he'd be best as a backup to learn behind someone like Palmer, Big Ben, or a vet in Cleveland (those vertical offenses are his best fit). I hope we go back to a more WCO type of offense and I don't see him being a fit for those plays based around timing and accuracy.

Yea I watched him play every single game this year, he had his share of wtf moments but so has every other qb coming out this year.

Russel had major work ethic ? Marks coming out that Kizer doesn't have

Many draft sites have him as one of their top qbs and I have seen why

That's a pretty common opinion - most people like Trubisky, but Kizer has the best physical tools of all the QBs so if you think his problems are correctable, he's got the most upside. If WalterFootball isn't making stuff up, a lot of NFL sources like Kizer over Trubisky.

I may be in the minority on this board but I agree and still like Kizer more than Trubisky as well. I'd be happy if we get him

My issue is he actually got worse as the season went on which is a red flag. I didn't see him show up in any big games this yr (outside of that Texas game which was the first game of the yr).

Right most football analyst have him higher then I think he should be, but we are drafting 2nd overall most likely and he's not the #1 QB on the board. Turbisky is the top QB in this draft class IMO and the only knock on him is starts...I think all said in done Kizer will have less then 150 more passing attempts then him.

I also would throw Watson above Kizer without question.

Yup much like the rest of the ND team, they folded across the board with lack of talent and injuries. This year had NDs worst rushing attack in recent memory. Not to mention his schizo HC

My issue is people dismiss his 2015 season when he actually had a little talent around him in Fuller and Procise. Kizer would drop dimes to Fuller consistently.

Also Watson has a few NFLers around him right now including the possible 1st wr off the board.

Mitch, Watson and Kizer are the 3 best coming out this year at this moment imo.

If we took Mitch or Watson at 2 I would not be upset, but my dream scenario (like many) would be to get Garrett with our first pick and one of the qbs with our second.

I agree he had some talent last yr...I can't say that was the main reason he played the way he did down the stretch this yr. He just wasn't accurate and held onto the ball entirely too much. That's on him and the coaching staff.

Everyone is all over Trubisky for being so accurate because of his completion % but i feel like ball placement is a more telling factor then if the pass was caught and I feel like Kizers ball placement is at the very least equal to Trubisky
