I was right about him.

But it's crazy how my line of thinking has changed with Shanny. There's no way in hell I'm drafting a RB before day 3 anymore. I can't do it.

Could be a better pick than a rotational d lineman though.

Another one of your posts that did not age well.

Same here. This guy straight up puts the offense on his back . Amazing

Lemme be clear. I knew he'd be good. Anybody with eyes could see that. But didn't want him at number 2. But with hindsight, it would have been one of the only times that it's ok to take a RB at 2 or 3.

CMac and Kittle on 3rd Downs would have been fun to watch.
I was told in NT that running backs should never be drafted high.

To be fair.. he was drafted right in front of Mahomes and Lattimore. Saints and chiefs went on to find a superstar rb in the third round. But we know what happened with Chiefs guy.

The Shanahan run scheme certainly makes a case in and of itself as to why they don't need to invest high capital in the position. But there are exceptions and C-Mac certainly would have been a worthwhile exception in hindsight.

Jet fit the exception in FA because of his ability in pass pro and as a receiver and route runner in the pass game. They likely saw enough on tape to believe Turner can maximize him as a runner as well.

That's because Shanny can put up 275 with later picks. There's not always a right or wrong answer though. Carolina certainly isn't regretting McCaffrey.

NT also told you Jared Goff was an elite QB and that Tremaine Edumunds didn't have elite, NFL-best instincts.

Plenty of L's to go around for all of us on the zone.

Everyone on this forum trying to pat each other on the back for guessing right. The draft is a crapshoot. Just pray you get lucky. Period. That's why teams spend in FA, because they know what they're getting barring injury.
