So I hope CMC sticks to his bread and butter and don't let ego get in the way

Reggie Bush still had a decent NFL career. He struggled with injuries and was on a team built for the pass, not the run. 88 receptions his rookie year aint too shabby.

Yea he had a decent career his NEED to prove he was a 1,000 rusher stopped him from being thought of as possibly a great player.

Had he stayed in NO to keep playing the style that fit him best he wouldn't have been just another back.

Well after checking his history he didnt leave NO on his own do I g like i thought he was. So nevermind

The year before Reggie Bush got selected #2 overall some short running back went in the 4th round that had a much better career. I'd take Darren Sproles all effing day.
I hope he gets OROY.

Well other than Beathard that is...

And you could say the same thing for lots of #2 picks

Bush didn't live up to the hype but people keep referring to him as a bust and he wasn't
2.9 ypc but still on pace for 1100 yards of scrimmage. I think he's settling as a Reggie.

Now down to 2.7 ypc and just 104 yards rushing after 6 weeks.

Jonathan Stewart has 2.9 ypc....they have issues with run blocking.

???

What! McCaffrey's value isn't just in what he brings to his personal stat line -- it's that he is, without question, the #1 threat on that offense that a defense has to account for. Even more than Cam Newton. If you saw the game last night you could see multiple Philly defenders peeling off the line to bottle him up regardless of the play call. Everybody else is single covered, and often they cannot leave a spy in to defend Newton.

He's been remarkable thus far. His impact on the game has been tremendous. He's the ultimate weapon. Dude continues to run the best routes of any RB in the NFL, and better than most WRs.

Same as Stewarts, the atrocious run blocking. Ryan Kalil is out, Matt has been terrible and even Turner looked bad last night.

Maybe it was turner, but one of the OL couldn't even walk, lol

I think MCaffrey looks good, even if his production isn't there.

He nothing special in the NFL just a glorified 3rd down back. You expect more from a top 10 pick.

Offensive players taken in the 1st round not named Fournette:

Corey Davis - 73 yards
John Ross - 0 yards
Mike Williams - 0 yards
OJ Howard - 92 yards
Engram - 200 yards

McCaffrey - 460 yards

All offense across the board this year has been disappointing.

Le'Veon Bell has a 3.6 YPC
