Fournette is a stud. If you believe that you should not draft a RB at #2 overall, fine. But at least be intellectually honest about the kids talent lol.

Piss off saying I'm trolling...you're just a Fournette homer who gets upset when someone doesn't think he's worth the 2nd pick in the draft.

I've stated I think he's the best RB in the class and yes I've pointed out what I think his flaws are...dude isn't perfect. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

Save it dude. Pretty sure i can go back and find the argument me and you had in here when you told me Cook was the best RB in this draft. You also stated that Fournette might not even be the best back on LSU's roster lol.

You are the only one I see getting upset.

You talk about taking a RB at #2 he better be able to run pretty much on demand no matter what.

Where he went doesn't matter since it's already proven he's an elite NFL back.

That's not how it works. QB's don't play elite against the #1 d. See what happens to Brady when he runs into great d's. The same can be said about the run. It's a team game and running and throwing the ball requires performances across the board. Bala has LSU's #.

Your right. Lets take a Dlineman #1 every year for eternity.

We have invested heavily on defense every year that Baalke was the GM, heavily neglecting the offensive side of the ball. I dont see that happening this year. I see Shanahan getting any and every piece on offense that he wants and is available in this draft, then addressing defense over the course of the next two seasons.

Hell, im not even convinced we have our long term DC in place right now.

I dont know who we will draft with the first this year, and im pretty sure they want to trade back, but i am personally about 90% certain that whoever we draft in round one, it will be an offensive player, not defensive.

Thomas is overrated at #2. Period.

Guess you missed the memo about how prior picks will have no bearing on what they'll do in this draft?

There is a reason Baalke was fired and it wasn't because he did too good of a job. Just because we drafted defense more doesn't change the fact that the worst part of our team was the defense last year and the best part of our team last year was the running game.

The idea that with the best defensive talent class in a long time available to us to address the worst part of our team that we should go heavy on offense and wait to build up the defense til next year makes no sense.

You go with the strength of the class and address holes all over the defense. On offense we have holes but outside of QB they aren't as urgent as the issues on our defense.

Your the one calling me a troll and I take offense to that...you need to save it with that s**t. I question some of his flaws so what? He's not perfect and if your drafting a RB at two he'd better be.

Yes I did say cooks was until hearing about his off field stuff. And yes he wasn't the best back on his team this yr what does that have to do with THIS draft?

Who says either of those things aren't true? If Cook wasn't a dumbass he may very well be considered the best RB in this class.

If you have a FQB, top OL, and a number one WR then it would be more plausible....If dallas didn't get lucky and end up with the 4th pick I wouldn't have been surprised if Zeke dropped out of the top 10.

Minnesota had those things? Tavaris Jackson? Troy Williamson? 1/3 because they had Bryant McKinney. It's not a 1 year rebuild any way you draw it up. If we never get the qb good luck winning no matter how we draft.

It does matter when the point many of us are making is that you can find quality RBs later in the draft and using #2 overall on a RB is not wise. It would be a different story of a Fournette was someone who ran all over every team he faced and never got hurt. It would be difficult to argue against a guy who simply dominates vs any competition but when you're arguing to take this guy #2 and avoid addressing a horrendous defense well that's concerning to see.

Nope hating on drafting a RB at two...brought up his flaws but I've done that on most players.

He wasn't this yr...go look at the stats. Guice ran for 1,400 yards at 7.6 ypc. LF never ran for over 6.5 ypc

Guice is a stud and may very well be better than Fournette. Not sure why that's so shocking.

Guice is the real deal. But Gore, McGahee and Portis don't make E James a bad pick either. College football can be like that sometimes.

No sh*t. I mean I know I have been pounding the table for Fournette and is well documented, but I can tell you there is no way I have made nearly as many posts as he has. That goes to show the extent of his hate.

Normally, in any thread on a given player, it is mainly filled with posts in supporting that player. While people may argue against a certain player, this guy is different, he is obsessed with totally trashing Fournette

You can't possibly have any reasonable exchange with such people. He just won't stop and is incapable of agreeing to disagree.
