That is only your opinion.

Daniel Jeremiah polled 5 NFL execs and that was after Elliott's 1,600 yard rookie season and yet 3 out of the 5 execs still said they would prefer Fournette over Elliott. That is saying a lot!!

Dude how many times is that story going to be recycled? If you really believe that then you don't understand deception and reality. Im sure they want you to take Fournette so they can Grab Cook or Mixon. Both way more talented than Fournette. Just watch the film. Who wows you the most? It isn't Fournette.

And dont post that one stupid run he bulls over a corner. Thats as played out as that stale report you keep citing every chance you get.

Daniel Jerimiah said he expects Lynch to build a powerful defense so forget about LF buddy.
A sample size of 5 is miniscule and really proves nothing when it's only 3-2. If you're flipping a coin 5 times, one side still has to win right?

Just like Fournette doing poorly against Bama, or having a great game on the 3rd down, sample sizes this small really offer very little in the way of conclusive evidence.

Regardless of the sport, player, team, sometimes there's someone else with a different style that you can't get to grips with. Most teams/players have it. Doesn't make them any less of a player.

I think the only thing that the Bama game might highlight is that a RB can't do it all on his own. If the 9ers are actually considering taking LF then they better make sure he's got the support around him to actually make a go of it.

No matter who we take at RB during the draft, it's pointless if we're just sending them out there to run head first into a rushing brick wall.

Aww, you don't like to hear it huh?

It is nevertheless a fact as opposed to your self-created theory.
No, Id prefer to hear your opinion. Not someone else's.

My opinion? Oh that's refreshing, I thought you would want to hear substantiation of my opinion.

OK, here it is, my opinion is simple. I see Fournette as being the best player after Myles Garrett.

If we are going to pick anyone at 2, to me that player will have to be able to deliver maximum impact from the get-go and in my opinion there just isn't another player that even comes close to that kind of performance. In short, Leonard Fournette is a difference maker.

Furthermore, you add on Carlos Hyde's contract year, his constant injury woes, it just crystalizes everything and makes picking Fournette at 2 an easy decision.

Bama? He ate s**t against a lot of top teams. We have a RB who rushed for 993 yds or something. He also avg 4.6 yds a carry.

Ive never seen such a hardon for a guy that didn't even rush for 900 yds last year.

OK doke, whether you agree with Matt Miller's latest mock draft of taking Fournette at 2 or not, you can hear it directly from the horse's mouth when all your questions have been answered as to why he would pick Fournette as 9ers' top pick in this Niners Wire's podcast interview.

I don't care whos podcast it is. He is f**king wrong. Id bet you 10 million to one if I could. He doesn't fit Shanahans system and he would never be our pick even if we traded back and he was available at 25.

Sorry are you new to this thread?

Might want to do a bit of research before labelling me pro-Fournette.
I will say this as well, and i know its not how you build a NFL roster, but the fanbase needs something to be excited about.

I dont know how many of you were around here in 2006, but that year would have been 1000000x s**ttier without the excitement of Frank Gore. And although we didnt get to the post season until 2011, Frank got people excited for 49ers football again.

Frank had a pretty good career here, and if we feed him the football we likely are 6-0 and not 5-1.

Fournette can have that kind of impact and set the tone for whats to come from this new era of 49ers football.

LOL. Almost Every team in the NFL would draft Fournette at #25.
