According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans is considered day-to-day with a rib strain. That's good news for the 49ers' receiving corps, especially since the injury initially seemed more serious based on Evans' reaction.

Evans suffered the injury in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. The wide receiver was slow to get off the field after a play and appeared visibly uncomfortable. He made his way to the sideline, where he was evaluated before being carted to the locker room for further examination.
Evans finished the game with three catches for 34 yards and a touchdown on six targets. The 49ers defeated the Cardinals 36-30, improving to 3-0 on the season.
The veteran wide receiver is in his 13th NFL season and has recorded 12 receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns through three games this season.
