To be honest, the player that really reminds me of Antonio Brown is actually Justin Hardy of ECU. I graded Brown a lot higher than most because I saw an explosive player on the field. His workout numbers were not good at all (4.56 forty, only a 8'09" broad jump, and 33.5" vertical), although he did test fairly well in the quickness drills. Hardy weighed in pretty similar at 5-10 192 and while he clocked only a 4.56, I really liked what I saw on the field from him and I believe he plays faster than that. As far as the agility drills, Hardy put up the best time out of all the receivers, at 6.63.

It's funny that we all have an Antonio Brown comparison. Mine is Lockett. I like the quickness and route savvy.

I think that would be a huge pick for us. hopefully they value him high enough to take at the top of the 2nd round, I doubt he lasts until our 2nd pick.

I'm with OTC. Hardy looks more like Antonio Brown.

If i had to compare Dorsett to an NFL player, it would be a little bit Emmanuel Sanders and a little bit Jeremy Maclin

Despite the lower production (which I blame on scheme and a poor freshman QB) Dorsett would be a 1st rd talent in many draft classes. If he were 6'+ tall, I doubt we could even get him at 15.

Totally agree. I love Dorsett. His QB was really, really inaccurate IMO. He, DGB & Devin Smith are why I don't want a WR at 15. Trade back & get one of those guys; much better value.

Dorsett is a very good, quick-twitch very elusive WR like John Brown. It would be great to have him.
But he's small and less sturdy and likely a #3 WR. I'm not sure why you don't include Chris Conley on your list of interesting WR's as Conley has more upside potential than any of the WR you mentioned. He's more of a long-strider like Terrell Owens. Dorsett is a great small #3 WR. DGB is a head case and over-rated. Devin Smith is a deep threat, but not a well-rounded WR. Chris Conley has higher potential than any of these guys. Conley has been under-publicized. Has #1 WR upside. Too bad there isn't much tape available to watch to evaluate more.

Chris Conley: 117 Receptions, 16.6 Yards Per Reception, 1938 Yards, 20 Touchdowns

I really want Dorsett. I think the Ninerd need a consistent deep threar that can take the top off of a secondary. Id love to see him run past Sherman for a long TD, or burn him on a double move.

Unfortunately, I dont think the Niners will have the luxury of drafting him in the 2nd (if hes there), and he wont be there in the 3rd.

Dorsett's nowhere near 195...if you saw him at the combine, he's pretty lean. My concern with him is could he survive a 16 game regular season...he got by with pure speed in college, but he'll be challenged every game by bigger DB's. I liked what I saw at the combine...the speed and ability to catch the deep ball. If Baalke wants a speed guy, I'd be in favor of Devin Smith because he's got more size/strength and is great at adjusting to the ball and making the tough catch.

He does have the potential to improve into a wideout like Antonio or OBJ3... so there should be nothing wrong with his sentiments there. Dorsett does need to refine his routes.. which is why he will not likely be a top 20 selection this year.

Home run speed is great, but how much do you pay for an undersized WR who might give you like 8-10 40+ yd plays a season?

3rd round at the highest for me, would feel much more comfortable in the 4th. And if he is our 1st WR and our main plan to address the situation I will be f**king furious.

Just not convinced what this guy can bring over what Ellington offers. He was used so little in the passing game they are both still pretty much unknowns in the NFL.
