IMO he'd be a steal anywhere in the 2nd. He really doesn't have many negatives.

besides size and strength?

And blocking ability.

No doubt, but his redeeming factors are too great to ignore. At least he's not 156 lbs like Nelson and has a 24.2 yd average, 10 TD's as well so he compensates well.

Rather have Tyler Lockett. He has speed AND the ability to separate from defenders with his crisp route running. He's a bit smaller but so as TY Hilton, Antonio Brown, DJax, G.Tate, E.Sanders, S.Smith, J.Edleman and much more. He's also a good blocking WR for a small guy. I believe Lockett is this year's steal of the draft. He's the complete package with good NFL traits. Just my 2 cents.

I dunno about that one braddah, he broke both FSU cornerbacks ankles multiple times in that game, and both are considered top CBs (Darby, PJ). And he destroyed cbs all week at the senior bowl. I see him as another TY Hilton

Agree 100%. Plus one of, if not the best, returners in the draft. Plus instead of burning a 2nd on Dorsett you can get Lockett in the 3rd or 4th. Way better value, for a guy I think is better anyways.

100% agree with this. He has straight line speed and uses his shiftiness to create separation so he is not just a deep threat but a threat anywhere on the field. Not only that but his production never drops and his film speaks for itself. I would much rather have Ty Lockett than Devin Smith or Phillip Dorsett.

I undastand that Hyn, but I just no can see the sudden stop and crisp cuts coming out of his routes when I watched his games. It's like you can tell he's going to make a move befoa he makes it. It works if he's doing a double move but NFL CBs can smell that buggah coming and won't get fooled by it all the time. I no mind if the Niners draft him but fo some reason, I raddah have Lockett, just my 2 cents tho. Lol..hows da traffic bah?
I Believe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Braddah took me 5 hours fo get home yesterday, unreal. I agree with you 100% on Lockette cuz, his route running is mean, honestly I be happy with either cause we never have speed foreva! We missed out on one unreal wr class last year (though I like Ellington) and I just hope we no do that again this year. This class is good too and we gotta get in on it.
Ho back to da traffic, was so funny brah when they went open da zip lane from sand island, I saw guys pulled over out of the car eyeing out everybody driving past lol.

Imagine if he had a QB who could throw him open. He'd be running full speed the whole time, instead of having to always decelerate to the football.

For him to be able to perform as well as he did in college with no legitimate QB is really telling to his skill and competitiveness. One thing analysts talked about during his pro day was the fact that Dorsett, despite being a top performer at the combine, still chose to do all those drills at his pro day because he wanted to compete with everyone else and wanted to compete with his combine numbers. I love that.

A few things Dorsett was asked during his pro day was what he had to work on. He wasn't shy to talk about his weaknesses which were his route running, strength, and getting proper release from bump coverage. We won't know if he'll develop the skills perfectly, but I like that he knows what exactly to work on to be successful in the pros.
Im all for trading down now, and picking up and extra 2nd or 3rd if we can grab dorsett in late first. then peters in 2nd...slam.

Yes! i will be all down for that. TBH at 15, no one jumps out at me. All the value is in the top 10 and second/third round. if we can stock pile our picks in the 2nd and 3rd, we can make a killing while also picking up dorsett

I'll take Tyler Lockett over this kid.
