I like our QB/HC tandem a lot more. I'm not afraid of Talib, and while Peters is a TO machine, he can also get picked on. I think of Kyle and JG as the types that can exploit that. Our offense vs their defense will depend on the battle in the trenches.

Elite is a pretty lofty title
He's not imo. Wouldn't be surprised if he took a step back. Gurley and McVay will keep him afloat, but I'm not sold on him yet. I had my doubts going into their playoff game, and he reinforced them in that game.
Me neither....hope we hear the term "Bust" thrown around again when it comes to Goof....I mean Goff

talib is legit, even at his advanced age. Peters is good also, but I think we have the receivers to counter them. Quick guys are always tough to guard if you're a big corner.

Talib is for sure one of the better corners in the league, but I don't think there's a truly great corner out there to compare to right now. The rules have made it almost impossible to be a true shutdown corner anymore. I'm more worried about the OL/DL battle.

yeah, but kyle is smart to counter that, I'm sure he will do a lot of quick and intermediate passes to pick on their linebackers and do a lot of outside zone plays to get away from donald and suh.

No edge rushers or LBs.. We can expose their weaknesses. In Shanny and Jimmy I trust.

Their LB's are a massive gaping hole and now they have no 1st rounder to address it with. That is where teams will attack them, in the intermediate area, get the ball out quickly to avoid their pass rush, short quick passes, go down the field methodically, take a deep shot from time to time to try and catch their DB's napping.

Remember we still got Joe and Trent. Whose gonna attack the edges? Like you mentioned especially with no first or 2nd round picks.

Plays right into our strengths. This is where we killed teams once Jimmy took over. I think these Ram-49er matchups are going to be better than most the media think. The Rams are more talented and probably should be the favorites, but we have the upper hand in some important areas.

They want to get one done... but they also were saying the same of Watkins right after they traded for him.
Curious to see what that will run them. Has better production than Watkins to date and has been healthier.
