This. Rams are division champs and likely will be again. Jimmy will send this franchise skyrocketing, but to think we're gonna just suddenly pass the Rams because of that is silly. They ALSO have a franchise QB.....and Gurley.......and Cooks........and Donald........and Suh.......and Peters......and Talib.....
I gotta agree with you guys, some people here are unreal. The Rams just had one of the greatest offseasons ever with those additions, no way around that or denying it. Yes we have Jimmy, but football is a team game and they have a roster full of all pro/pro bowl talent. How many of those do we have?

Irony: the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect.
See now if i respond to this comment mods wanna come at me.
Anyway the guy replied to my comment with snark and i replied in-kind. But the mod says I'm attacking the guy. Like cmon man. Let's not be so sensitive around here and use personal vendettas against posters you don't like and abuse mod powers.

Stop with Mods having a power trip just because they tell you to tone it down or avoid this or that. Giving a poster a verbal warning is considered a power trip?? Wouldn't banning posters left and right be considered a power trip?
Anyway that's all I'm to say about that in this thread, we can handle this matter via PM if you'd like.

They have a sexy roster in the short-term, but if they don't win a Super Bowl in the next two seasons (they very well could win one, hence 'if') then these moves are a huge failure. Doesn't matter how sexy the talent level is on April 4, 2018. All that matters is the results.

Mods around here act like dictators it's really ridiculous. There's absolutely no issue between me and the poster and you jump in for no reason. Our exchange was over even. Why do you feel so compelled to jump in? What was SO HORRIFYING about what i said? I'd like to know
take a break. Cheers

If the Rams don't win the SB THIS YEAR the LA fans will turn on them lol. If they don't even win the NFC championship game prior to that there will be plenty of finger pointing. If they get knocked out of the playoffs prior to that? Meltdown in LA. LMFAO. LA Market is fickle. They don't have the hearts and souls of long term fans that established, traditional, long term resident teams do. Going to be brutal on that team if these off season splashes don't pan out. And if they don't, the draft capital they would have pissed away can't be replaced.
I don't think the Rams defense gets them where they need to be to make all of these wild ass predictions some "fans" on here are making.

I think they are gong to be a better team, but I am not sure they are completely "All That" like some do.
They are starting a new season with a ton of new players with some really big egos. We will see how that plays out during the season. I am not predicting they won't do well, but I will wait to see how the games go before I crown them as Champions of anything.

The Arizona Cardinals are so f**ked.
They will either have to win a bidding war to get one of the top 4 guys and cripple future drafts. Or, they'll have to stand pat and hold a press conference after the draft trying to convince us all that this drafts 5th or 6th best QB was "their guy all along".

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Patriots' acquisition of the No. 23 overall pick from the Rams in exchange for Brandin Cooks "was all about" trying to trade up for a quarterback in this month's draft.
A member of the Patriots' organization told La Canfora he would "certainly not" be surprised if the Cooks trade was made to acquire more ammo to move up in the draft. La Canfora admitted his "total hunch" is the Patriots may be eyeing Baker Mayfield due to his mobility and top-notch accuracy. Coach Bill Belichick realizes he needs to find Tom Brady's successor, and this QB-deep draft offers one of the best chances to find that guy. However, there will be a ton of competition to move up in the draft. New England has two firsts and two seconds.
Lol Canfora, Baker Mayfield really? Just doesn't seem like the type of gunslinger Belichick wants. IMO

I could see them taking Lamar Jackson and saying he was their guy.

Damn I think Rosen is the type of guy that belichick loves. We should all be hoping that somehow Rosen (or another qb) fall down to us. Getting those 2 1st rounders would be amazing.

Sam Darnold
Josh Rosen
Josh Allen
Baker Mayfield
Mason Rudolph
Lamar Jackson
Kyle Lauletta
I think they'll settle for Mason Rudolph or Lamar Jackson. IMO

Would love it and would pull the trigger in a heartbeat. With that trade 49ers could come away with Rashaan Evans and Billy Price.

I would be very surprised if Jackson makes it to #15. You got the Chargers, Patriots, Saints and Dolphins who all could realistically make a move up for a QB. And everybody knows they have to get in front of Arizona.
Regardless -- even if the Cardinals ended up with Jackson... life would be good for a Niners fan.

Would be hilarious to hear Keim say something like that. Basically would be saying "We let the other teams pick who our QB would be. But this is the guy we would have taken at #1 anyways" lol
