Way past his prime and too frequently injured. We're not talkin' Favre with 250 consecutive starts, or an up and coming free agent coming from a team that couldn't afford to pay staters salary to 2 QB's.

Nobody is saying he will absolutely win us a Super Bowl...that's not realistic. It's about getting this team to the next level, making the playoffs and at least having a SHOT at winning it all.

Right now, we have ZERO shot with our current QB situation. McNabb gives us a shot, and that's all teams on the rise can ask for.

Honestly I'm to the point where I'd rather have McNabb get us in the playoffs even if he chokes, then for us to not make them at all.

As long as we address the OL..only thing that worries me is that he would have to learn a whole new offense.

Eagles get niners Pick 13 and niners 3rd round pick

Niners get Eagles pick 24, and Donovan Mcnabb.

Niners have pick 17, 24 and 49 plus a starting qb.

If we get McNabb, who's to say we'll keep Raye as OC? McNabb has a few good years left in him, so it would make sense to bring in an OC to install a WCO and build it to fit the talents of McNabb, Gore, Davis, Crabtree, Morgan, Walker, etc.
