Solidg2000/WildTurkey 49ers draft 2.0

Homie you just ruined a nicely presented draft with these trades that aren't gonna happen. And magically Brown will be there at 32 waiting on the Niners. This draft is just overly perfect. Thus I wouldn't mind it but it's not reality.

Last year when I called Crabtree at 10, same thing was said
One can dream right!!
While I doubt we trade down so much, I can see it happen
As much as I love CJ Spiller, We would not pass up Trent Williams if he was there at #13!

I agree. I basically stopped looking when I saw all of the trades. Why not work with some reality???

Just a few thougths on the mock:
* I see no chance at all that Berry makes it past Seattle and certainly not for Morgan.
Its going to be Okung, Berry, or Claussen for Seattle in that spot

* Taylor Mays to Miami at 12? Care to make a large wager on that one? I think
Parcells is going to want great football players and not workout warriors.

* Dez Bryant falling to 17... I see very little chance if any that Bryant falls past
both Denver and Miami. These are two teams that must get a #1 WR. You
can also add Jacksonville to that as well. Bryant isnt lasting until 17

* Passing on Trent Williams... I just dont see the Niners passing on Williams and
giving the Seahawks their OT especially now that Anthony Davis has huge
marks. They need an OT badly and I think Williams will be the pick. The only
guy that could change that is if Joe Haden runs well on his Pro Day and is sitting
there at 13.

Sorry. Just dont like a lot of it. However, I do think you nailed the first 5 picks.

i hope so homie. One thing i have a problem with though is Jacksonville taking Graham. I love Graham but didn't they just draft 2 DE's 2 years ago and they signed Kapman. Seems like a major overload at one position when they have plenty of holes.

You all do realize mock does mean not real
all the picks selections and trades fall under the plausable section.
The trades probably won't happen but they do fall close to the point value.
Every pick does fall under the projected slot.

A safety at 6 is still not a sure thing
Taylor Mays is a great prospect and only because the zone doesn't like him doesn't mean Parcels doesn't
Williams while it does appear he is on the up, pre draft hype is just that, hype. No one really knows how each team values each player. Think Andre Smith, everyone said he was out of the top 15 after poor showings all off season leading up to the draft.

As for letting the seahawks get him remember what they say all the time on NFLN, you draft inside out, not outside in.

Dez will fall, how long is the question. He dodged questions, he didn't admit to doing anything wrong and he didn't work out. Do you really think Denver wants another primadona WR? I choose the Patriots because they have a system in place to keep Dez in check.

There are always players who fall in the draft even if the zone thinks they are locks

Graham is going there as a OLB
I love the Burnett pick. He is one of my favorite players in this draft. I don't see the trades happening really, but I do like the idea and outcome. Also, I don't know if we would let Williams get past the 13th pick. We would take a long look considering our need along the front line. Can't argue with the Spiller pick though

CJ Spiller and Morgan Burnett would make me very happy.
Appreciate the effort, but I always am skeptical of the "multiple trade" mocks. The Niners have EIGHT picks this year plus another comp pick coming. They don't need to trade down for more picks. Also passing on Trent Williams for a luxury pick in Spiller does not float my boat from the start.

I would agree if Williams was an elite talent at OT.
But he isn't! If Okung was available then that's an automatic.
Williams is anywhere from the 2nd to 5th OT talent
I don't like Bulaga, I see Gallery in Bulaga.

Trent Williams is only going this high because the OT class is weak.
If this was last year, he would be lucky to be in the first round. He would probably be a mid 2nd rounder to be honest.

Niners have pulled off multiple trade on draft day before and so have many teams, it's nothing new. And with the comp pick it brings us to 9 picks, in my mock i have us gettin 10 picks. It's not an issue of more picks, it's a thing about getting more picks in the first two rounds. Many 1st round talent guys got pushed back by so many underclassmen declaring for the draft.

While you're right. All these trades are possible. You have to remember who our GM is. It would take New Orleans and New England's GM calling and making the offer. Scotty and going to negotiate s**t! With that said. New England's GM would take him to the cleaners. no way that would be his offer. Someone may be able to negotiate that from him, but not Scotty.
