New season, same 9ers..... Cant lure in any decent free agents, cant resign our own crappy reserve players and another new coaching staff.
No QB controversy- Why is Alex being appointed the starter? How does this help anyone?
Gore holding out- Thanks Frank, exactly what the team needed, there leader and best off player to hold out for a contract. I really hope they dont give you a new contract and give you the boot. I really lost a lot of respect for you. Why didnt you start negotiating last year...oh yeah you were home watching the niners lose on your suede coach!
Crabtree injured- again? really?! Is there any reason to keep him around after this year? He has a bad attitude, makes too much money and is injury prone.
Off Line- too easy. another year of a swiss cheese line. Well theres always Iupati. We have a bright spot, a offensive guard
Def Line- No Franklin. Can this guy get a contract already. Hes needed in the new def scheme the 9ers will be running.
LBs- Thanks for letting go Spikes. They didnt need a veteran presence. No not a group of young LBs.
Dbs- oh this is bad. did they really think anyone would want to come to SF because they offered them the same contract as a contender did? NO! Now they will have to over pay for cromartie who isnt that good. The only thing Im looking forward to is Corey Nelms. Hes from my hometown and Im hoping he makes the team.
So I got Iupati and Nelms to look forward to. Looks like my sundays will be reserved for playing softball.

Not sure we needed a rival thread on this - it's apparent in every other thread.

Personnel: downgrade
Coaching: huge upgrade
Division: upgraded all around us
Most important: we still have Alex Smith "competing" in camp with a rookie 2nd rounder. Seriously, a rookie 2nd rounder. I have seen this story before.

Try rooting for a winning team that knows what they're doing. Those fans tend to be much happier.

This year is going to get ugly quick.
~ Alex - new coordinator and system again.
~ Kap - shotgun pistol offense transition to pros.
~ Gore - wants to hold out.
~ Crabtree - "sore foot."
~ Secondary worse.
~ LB's worse.
~ ORT ?
~ ORG ?
~ Pass rush unproven at pro level.
~ No offseason of work to install new system.

No QB and Alexis blows
Star RB Holding out
Our Best WR injured and don't like Smith anyway
New System and not enough reps with team
bottom line we are going to struggle this year guess were in the Luck sweepstakes and with Cam Newton's contract 22 million only I wouldn't mind at all.

alex- finally an adequite coach to teach him ince norv (remember he trasfered from WCO to gdigit with a lot of sucess i think its due to good coaching)
kaep- i agree he needs some time
crabtree- i agree but we are looking for replacement
secondary- i agree new system we have better pass rush and we are looking for CB in FA
LB aldon smith and brooks will be starting also bowman and willis we may not have as much talent but we are more athlethic with a great LB coach so thats yet to be seen
RT- davis has improved a lot he also came this year more fi and stronger
RG bye bye rachal means its already better (hopefully snyder starts here)
pass rush: brooks justin smith ray mac all have done decent to good with the amount of playing time they have include that with aldon smith who was a beast in first 2 years of college i thik he will do good in nfl (so does sapp and gruden)
camp alex was a success according to harbaugh

Not really. You should see the Laker forum I go to. The sky was still falling while they were winning back to back titles. Fans are fans, no matter what the team is doing.
