Why I am not excited about this upcoming season.

Not sure we needed a rival thread on this - it's apparent in every other thread.

Personnel: downgrade

Coaching: huge upgrade

Division: upgraded all around us

Most important: we still have Alex Smith "competing" in camp with a rookie 2nd rounder. Seriously, a rookie 2nd rounder. I have seen this story before.

I have no other adequate smiley, nor anything I can right to explain how tired I am of this fanbase right now....

Try rooting for a winning team that knows what they're doing. Those fans tend to be much happier.

This year is going to get ugly quick.

~ Kap - shotgun pistol offense transition to pros.
~ Gore - wants to hold out.
~ Crabtree - "sore foot."
~ Secondary worse.
~ LB's worse.
~ ORT ?
~ ORG ?
~ Pass rush unproven at pro level.
~ No offseason of work to install new system.

New System and not enough reps with team

bottom line we are going to struggle this year guess were in the Luck sweepstakes and with Cam Newton's contract 22 million only I wouldn't mind at all.

alex- finally an adequite coach to teach him ince norv (remember he trasfered from WCO to gdigit with a lot of sucess i think its due to good coaching)

kaep- i agree he needs some time

crabtree- i agree but we are looking for replacement

secondary- i agree new system we have better pass rush and we are looking for CB in FA

LB aldon smith and brooks will be starting also bowman and willis we may not have as much talent but we are more athlethic with a great LB coach so thats yet to be seen

RT- davis has improved a lot he also came this year more fi and stronger

RG bye bye rachal means its already better (hopefully snyder starts here)

pass rush: brooks justin smith ray mac all have done decent to good with the amount of playing time they have include that with aldon smith who was a beast in first 2 years of college i thik he will do good in nfl (so does sapp and gruden)

camp alex was a success according to harbaugh

maybe he'll pull an eli manning on draft day and only want 2 go 2 the niners then again mike brown is a s**t head so he wont give in

Not really. You should see the Laker forum I go to. The sky was still falling while they were winning back to back titles. Fans are fans, no matter what the team is doing.
