~ Kap - shotgun pistol offense transition to pros.
~ Gore - wants to hold out.
~ Crabtree - "sore foot."
~ Secondary worse.
~ LB's worse.
~ ORT ?
~ ORG ?
~ Pass rush unproven at pro level.
~ No offseason of work to install new system.

alex- finally an adequite coach to teach him ince norv (remember he trasfered from WCO to gdigit with a lot of sucess i think its due to good coaching)

kaep- i agree he needs some time

crabtree- i agree but we are looking for replacement

secondary- i agree new system we have better pass rush and we are looking for CB in FA

LB aldon smith and brooks will be starting also bowman and willis we may not have as much talent but we are more athlethic with a great LB coach so thats yet to be seen

RT- davis has improved a lot he also came this year more fi and stronger

RG bye bye rachal means its already better (hopefully snyder starts here)

pass rush: brooks justin smith ray mac all have done decent to good with the amount of playing time they have include that with aldon smith who was a beast in first 2 years of college i thik he will do good in nfl (so does sapp and gruden)

camp alex was a success according to harbaugh

Are we still acting like Alex had "a lot of success" in year 2? He transformed from atrocious to mediocre in between years 1 and 2 and he's stayed there every since. He also had good coaching with Martz, and while he got injured, reports eluded to the fact that Martz didn't like what he saw with Alex and O'Sullivan would have started regardless.

I have no other adequate smiley, nor anything I can right to explain how tired I am of this fanbase right now....

Try rooting for a winning team that knows what they're doing. Those fans tend to be much happier.

Not really. You should see the Laker forum I go to. The sky was still falling while they were winning back to back titles. Fans are fans, no matter what the team is doing.

Lol I think we talked about this before. I'm on the same forum and for the most part that's absolutely true. I just don't see much of that from pats or Steelers fans.

im not saying he had a great year but considering our most consistant wr was arnaz battle who wouldnt stat on any other team thats not bad (we also did have a vd or anything to bail him out and as a 21 year old 1b with minimal wr targets to get 16 td isnt bad

as for marz kinda hard to look your best when youre playing with a shoulder injury that needs surgury its like asking a basketball player to play with a broken elbow or a track star to run with a blown out knee
Please don't turn this into another Alexis thread. Make this a chilo, crabcrotch, wragge Or any of the other bum asses we all have no interest in seeing this year. I mean how could they really think chilo next to wragge was good enough to start training camp with? Chilo has to be one of the worst players I have ever seen and I have seen some real clowns suit up in a niners uniform on the last ten years. And if they plannd on cutting heitmann and not resigning baas why didn't they address center in the draft ?!

I'm saying we may be in LUCK. ANDREW LUCK that is. The one advantage of finishing with the worst record in the leauge.

Well a good number of fans have already quit....and frankly this time I don't really blame them. I guess this is the year we tank for Luck then.

Things are not looking good at all.

Well....I'll still be watching. My one hope is that Harbaugh makes lemonade from the lemons he's been dealt, and gets some of his young players some good experience.

Good coaching with so-so or young talent can still win in today's parity based NFL.

Horrible coaching with super talent can still lose. And you see it often enough.

Yes, but remember SD, these are the 49ers. They'll put together a few meaningless wins in the end and put themselves out of reach of Luck. It's the York way.

I'm not going to judge the team based on less than a week of activity. We have a better head coach, a decent draft class certainly, and a better kicker. Sounds like a good start to me
Ehh.. i disagree with 65-70 percent of what you said.

I could easily see them going like 0 - 11 and then just when it doesn't count anymore go on a win streak at the end like say 4 out of 5 at the end to finish 4 - 12. Well out of the Andrew Luck sweepstakes...

Realistically he wouldn't help us anyway. We have no CB, CB, FS, SS, OLB, OLB, NT (maybe depends on FA), WR, ORT, ORG. So Luck is not going to fix all this. We have drafted horribly for years. And in FA we've done bad too. And we have lost guys in FA that we haven't replaced. The guys we do get under perform or don't live up to expectations.
Yea I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree with most of this, weve got a few bright spots, by don't we always, the best thing we have going for us is that our division sucks so if we end up halfway decent to mediocre we can still win it and make the playoffs, its like we could be the smartest kid on the short bus

We are definitely on the SHORT BUS. That much I know.....
