totally weak. i'd bet on Zach Eflin, hoping for Marcus Stroman.
Well, Stroman is available, will be interesting to see where we go. Probably somewhere no one sees coming

Marrero would be a good pick here too. I think I've changed my tune on him. He was once viewed as a top 5, its just a matter if the Giant's coaches could put him back together.
I doubt Stroman, but I'd like it.

Chris Stratton
RHP Mississippi State
Looks like a steal.

Not a bad choice, probably easier to sign than Stroman also.

Stratton is a solid pick. He has more of a traditional starter's build, and 3 plus pitches to go with it. He is prototypical in terms of a college righty and should be a pretty sure thing. Mid-rotational potential imo, flashes a mid-90s FB.
Only seen him once, but he was lights out in the game I watched.

Well he's kinda old, even for a college kid, so he should be farther along than most guys.
He is a FB, SL pitcher, but his CB and CU are also supposed to be plus.
Don't know much more than that, like I said only seen him once. But I think his ceiling is a #2, but has a pretty high floor.
For what its worth, Jim Callis was just going head over heals for Marcus Stroman as possibly having "the best stuff in the entire draft." I really think he could have been a steal.

Thanks. I think mlbn did a poor job as far as analyzing our pick. They prolly spent one minute on our pick. :(
