The ony other big time fight for Floyd, other than Manny will be against Martinez at 154Lbs. Might be interesting to see a counter puncher against a counter puncher, or might be a dud because of the safety first style sometimes used by both.

There's also Berto depending on how he looks against Ortiz. Berto's seemed to built up a decent fanbase.

Floyd was as at the Berto/Ortiz fight. I think he assumed Berto was gonna win and then he would've faced him rather Ortiz. Lookiing forward to Ortiz/Berto II tho.

I really really really really hope you're wrong woty but it wouldn't surprise me. So much money to be made on that fight by everybody (floyd/golden boy promotions/ manny/ top rank and of course the biggest money maker would be HBO)

thats exactly how i feel, they missed the boat, yea if they fought id watch, bcuz im a fan of boxing but i wont buy the ppv, they dont care about us as boxing fans so i refuse to put a dollar of mine in there pocket, they both lost me as a fan .... if it happens or it doesnt happen now is irrelevant to me.
mayweather was saying in 24/7 that he personally thinks he has 5 more fights in him..

Watching the fight and buying the ppv are two different things ... Not sure u even read what I wrote, I said id watch bcuz im a boxing fan, but wouldn't pay for the ppv because they clearly care more about money than boxing fans like us. And believe me, I do not fault them for choosing millions over over fans, we would all do the same but theyve been bs for so long that I choose not to be a fan of either anymore

Pac is the only boxer I have ever PPV'd. But if they were to fight I guarantee you I would not pay for it. I will watch it probably at the casino.

And to me, its not the fans that I would care about but my own legacy.

Each of them had a chance to really set themselves as the best pound for pound fighter in multi generational terms, and they both pussied out. Now Mayweather's fans will always believe it is him, and the same for Pac fans.

They should have fought for themselves. They didn't so I lost some respect for Pac, and I never respected Mayweather anyway.

The end all fight is lost forever because they are both past their prime

The biggest night in boxing (PPV buys wise) was De La Hoya vs Mayweather on May 5, 2007. Don't know where you got decades from???

You probably don't remember but the hype for that fight was CRAY. Tickets sold out in 3 hours after they went on sale in Jan 2007. That fight, because it was so big, started the 24/7 Series on HBO.

Touche. They are mid 30's bro. There is absolutely nothing laughable about understanding how merciless Father time is. How old are you?

I have watched every Pac fight in it's entirety for nearly 10 years. He was at his absolute best 2008-2010. If you want to tell me Mayweather is not past his prime I will leave it at that, but nobody can tell me Pac has not seen his best days

Pac's last 3 fights from 2010 on were against Margarito, Mosely and JMM. He fought Margarito at 150 pound limit and weighed in at 144. Despite that, he dominated and f**ked up Margarito. Against Mosely, he won a unanimous decision and even knocked him down in the 3rd i believe. He also said that he had leg cramps before and during the fight, yet won easily. Against JMM, that all comes down to style. JMM's counte rpunching has ALWAYS presented Pacquio with problems. Pac/JMM II was in 2008 and you could dispute if he really won that fight. Style makes fights and JMM's style has always given Manny problems. That's the main reason why I think Manny would lose to Floyd. Floyd is the ultimate counter puncher but stronger, bigger and faster than JMM.

My point being, if you think that they're not as good as they were 2 years ago, that's fine. But they are hardly past their prime.
