I'm not too worried. Pac didn't even train that hard for Mosley and they were too buddy-buddy during the fight. Pac will be motivated for Floyd cuz of all the s**t he talked.

Pac worked his ass off for Mosley. He actually overtrained and that was what caused his leg problem to flare up, according to Ariza. No doubt Pac would be motivated against Floyd though.

It looked like Pac trained harder for Cotto/Margarito than he did for Mosley.

Actually, the Cotto camp was how they wanted all of his camps to be like. Despite all the issues they encountered in the Philippines, they said Pac again trained like a madman. Against Margarito, Pac went in a different direction than Ariza wanted. Against bigger guys, Ariza tends to build Pac's size and power up. Pac went against that strategy against Margarito, electing not to get heavier so he could retain his quickness. This is probably why he didn't have that knockdown punch against Margarito like he did with Cotto and Mosley. For the Mosley camp, it went almost too perfectly as Pac brought up his weight and kept his trademark speed. I wish I had all the articles I read these from, but this information came from Ariza, who I think knows Manny better than anyone aside from Freddy and Manny himself.

Not to mention Pac was in a car collision that might have hindered his leg vs Mosely hours away from the fight.

From what I was told a while ago, this fight was to set up a potential match up with Manny after his fight with Marquez. Not to mention Ortiz was rumored to be Manny's next fight, but now will be even more of a killer build-up to an epic boxing bout. The lifting of the Golden Boy lawsuit really helped set this up as well, though Manny will prolly not drop the PBF lawsuit until negotiations open for their fight to build up intrigue.
I have to give a HUGE set of props for PBF for setting this up. He's fighting a hot up and coming fighter whose style is very similar to Manny's (not as fast but definitely has power and aggression) and will be a great fight for PBF to build on.
I feel he set up this fight to not only build up his rep again, but to start making some money. I'm willing to bet that the Ortiz/PBF bout will make more money than Pac/Marquez III and will put PBF back into the Top 2 P4P discussion.
Whoever wins should get a fight with Manny, either the epic PBF/Manny bout we've all wanted for 4 years, or we get next great thing in Ortiz who was the slayer of PBF versus the P4P champion in Manny. Either way, they'll both be amazing fights and what the people want

never seen Ortiz fight so I'm gonna say PBF. Most technically skilled boxer of his time.

I am not too excited about this one. Ortiz will be dangerous the first two rounds but it will turn into another one of Floyd's glorified sparring sessions. Might buy it for the undercard but I don't really think Floyd will be tested. Ortiz comes at you too squared and tends to follow guys around. He has improved in cutting the ring off, but not enough to where he would be able to trap Floyd. Floyd will cruise to a unanimous decicion.
