Official NBA Dallas Mavericks Thread

This is for all the Dallas Mavericks talk. Dirk is a beast. Just to start it off ****New Players******* Shawn Marion(trade) 5 yr 40 mill Tim Thomas Drew Gooden Quentin Ross **Draft Picks** Rodrigue Beaubois rd 1 Nick Calathes R2 Ahmad Nivens R2 Projected Starting Lineup Jason Kidd-PG Josh Howard-SG Shawn Marion-SF Dirk Nowitzki-PF Erick Dampier-C Bench Jason Terry-SG Jose Barea-PG Rodrigue beaubois-PG Drew Gooden-PF/C Tim Thomas-PF/SF Quentin Ross-SG Coach- Rick Carlisle My Analysis: I think the Mavericks will do well this year, we finally got an athletic person in Shawn Marion, who can rebound and shoot (despite that ugly arse shot) Dirk will continue to be a beast as usual and the PG play will get better because of beaubois. This guy is 6'2 but has a wing span of 6'10. I say we finish 4-5th seed and make it to the conference finals..

You might be the only Mavs fan on this board. It's almost all Lakers/Warriors fans, with a few Rockets, Spurs, Magic, and Celtics fans. You're a bit outnumbered.

Where was this guy 2 years ago when I made an official Dallas Mavericks thread where we all made fun of the Mavs and laughed our asses off?

Although, I'm not a Mavs fan, I really do enjoy watching them play and I think Dirk is a very talented player. Would love to see him end up in DETROIT one day.

Why not just talk Mavs in the General Discussion thread? I'm pretty sure you're the only Mavs fan here.

A Dallas fan that's just been owned and is surrounded by Warrior's fans? I think I've seen this movie before!!!

At least the Mavs fan can hold on to the fact that his team is still (somewhat

) relevant in the NBA. Warriors fans? Not so much.

Because the mavericks are the best team in the NBA and they deserve to have their own thread. And hey I was wrong about a couple of things, the lack of talent, we actually do have talent, I was just mad about our years of losing in the second round to people of superior talent...but yeah I know deep down Pants that you are a mavericks fan..aka the superior team of texas, so why not show your true colors...the classy navy and the extravagent royal blue and come join the mavericks!!!
