Didn't see a thread for this so I'm sorry if I missed it and there already is one. Anyway, they look pretty good IMO this year despite losing Hardin and Anderson. Jerome Randle is a beast.

yeah they're playing soft inside on defense and that's where they're getting killed, like they're not even trying, just standing around watching

Does anyone see a similarity in the Cal bball team to the W's?

example: small ball, rebounding weakness, dominated by bigs, overreliance on outside shots, turnovers all day.

You can win with small ball in college basketball though. There aren't that many talented bigs in the country. Guys like Luke Harangody dominate

I think both go in the second round next year.

Randle if he plays well and leads Cal to a couple tourney wins, could make it into the first round. He is an underrated guard. NBA scouts really hate on undersized guards.

Randle and Washington's Isiah Thomas are pretty damn good.

You are right, but against teams with quality bigs, this Cal team will get dominated on those nights. Syracuse's bigs were dominating the paint against Cal. Not sure how much Theo Robertson could've helped, but I doubt the outcome would be different if he played.
