73 wins, and another choke when it matters.
Choke? The Lakers were barely considered a playoff team when last season started, yet were only a 1/2 game out of 1st place in the Western Conference once Bynum went down. Gasol replaced him, but that team overachieved. I can't believe that someone who roots for a team that has sported McGrady & Yao for what....4 years...says that the Lakers choked. Boston was a better team.
you mean when Kome held the team hostage and cried to get rid of Bynum until he showed he could play a little? That part of the season? Everyone in the media was crowning LA before the playoffs started all the way to the finals, don't give me this overachieved nonsense. And I can talk choke all I want, the Rox had both TMac and Yao at the same time once, and lost in 7 to the team that went to the finals, that's not a choke, that's a tough break. They've never been favored in any series because they had nothing besides those two, and never both 100% at the same time. Until this year they haven't had near the talent LA has had, and now you're seeing that they can overcome injuries and still have the best record in the toughest division in BBall. Again, until I see them win w/o Shaq, I'll never be convinced them or kome is as good as the media wants me to think they are. They are the cowboys of BBall.
Don't bother arguing with faker fans, its like trying to convince a cowboy fan they haven't won s**t in 15 years, to them Kome (Romo) is a godsend and can do no wrong.
You didn't just compair Romo to Kobe Bryant, did you?
If you actually think that they are compairable, you should just stop talking, slap yourself, and never speak of it again.
Seriously Hollywood, you can't be serious with that, are you?
Slap yourself and read/comprehend.

you guys need to get a life, nobody in this thread cares about LA.
As far as last night's game, be afraid. The team is getting healthy, just as I predicted they would about this time. When all 3 are healthy, you see how easily they dominate a good opponent like Denver. TMac with a triple double, now with Battier back the rotation is better, Landry and Scola are the best 1-2 punch in the league at the PF. All I had hoped for was to be .500 heading into January, we're ahead of schedule and getting healthy. Be afraid.

It's just a response to your fellow "Rocket" fan posting a Knicks logo in the Laker thread.

I'm just explaining to you why it was posted and that it wasn't just out of nowhere.
His crap is obnoxious considering that he trolls the Laker thread more than he talks about his beloved Rockets.
And yeah...that was a good win for you guys last night. Artest finally hit some shots. Oh, and I'll take Gasol/Odom over Scola/Landry every day of the week.

Sola/Landry play with more heart than Odom will ever do in his career.
Give me Scola/Landry over odom all day. Gasol is better though.
Trolls, Really?? Takes one to know one.

You can keep Gasoft and Odom. The 2 of them together aren't as tough as Scola, and neither is as active on the boards as Landry. Gasoft has more offensive game, but was exposed against a team that plays good D. Odom is the biggest waste of talent since Derrick Coleman.

I'm not getting into a "Carl Landry & Luis Scola are better than Pau Gasol & Lamar Odom" debate.
And that's coming from someone who argued with someone who thought that Ray Allen was better than Kobe Bryant.
Anyway...like I said, good win last night.

we'll agree to disagree, if you look at the contributions by both based on minutes played my duo is more efficient. really after having no PF since Otis Thorpe (Barkley was still good, but at the end of his career) I'm just excited to finally have not 1 but 2 great dirty work guys who basically split minutes and the team doesn't miss a beat. Probably my fave 2 players on the team, esp Landry he just gets after it.

Rockets seem to be starting to hit their stride....as other hyped teams falling back to earth. It's not how you start... Another night, another dominant performance by Yao
